The first word that people always choose to describe black women is "strong" which is true. However, we're not always strong. We're often expected to keep a smile on our face even when we're so busy struggling with carrying the world on our shoulders. Literally. We're not expected to have any kind of reactions. Or feelings. But we can only play the "superwoman" role for so long. Eventually we'll breakdown. Due to so many things that are already breaking us down.
