Spanning the years 1928-1952, this story is told mostly through the eyes of Enzo Morelli, the youngest son of Alberto Morelli, head of the Morelli Crime Family starting in 1908, with viewpoints changing occasionally between chapters. Enzo came to America with his family after World War I, mainly due to Mussolini's seizure of power and mass deportation of Sicilian mobsters. From there, they settle down in New York City, where a life of crime during and after America's Prohibition Era awaits them. (Disclaimer: There will be some explicit language, including language that was deemed acceptable at the time, used in some chapters. If any of the language used offends you, please refrain from reading this story any further or at all. My intention is not to offend anyone.)
