In the far future, massive mining corporations have scooped up every planet under the suns, making it impossible for the little guy to break into the market. Doubly-so when that 'little guy' is Kestrel Mining, Inc. Quite possibly the worst-run mining company in recorded history, KMI couldn't find their asteroids with both hands. On paper, this motley collection of underdogs, led by a lustful and dangerously incompetent narcissist, have basically no chance of competing with the top dogs in a fair fight. However, KMI do have an ace up their sleeve ... Throughout the galaxy, nomads known as "rogue planets" drift in the darkness between stars. Locating these wandering worlds and their potentially-lucrative mineral resources is like finding a needle on a planet made entirely of haystacks. But KMI, driven to extremes by corporate dominion of the stars, are hellbent on amassing their wealth by any means necessary ... even if they need to adopt a business model that seems like the apogee of futility. At the end of their picaresque journey lies fortune and glory, and all the sex that comes with it. However, to find their pleasure, they will need to overcome corporate treachery, brutal mercenaries, apathetic bureaucrats, hazardous worlds shrouded in perpetual shadow, and - most daunting of all - their own collective stupidity. So come along with the hardy fools of Kestrel Mining, Inc. as they struggle to get their rocks off(-world). Inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy crossed with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ROGUEHOUNDS is a sci-fi comedy about making money in the wide, wild galaxy.
