Being kidnapped and shut in a cold, dark basement with four strangers is bound to change you as a person. Bound to make you a little dark, your mind a bit twisted. It was always going to forge bonds that no one else would ever comprehend, entwine you together so deeply that you become family. If that was where it ended, we would have been ok. People would have understood all of that. But if they knew what really went on in that room... we'd be finished. Probably locked up. Torn away from each other. I don't think any of us could survive that, which is why no one can ever know what we did, why our secrets need to stay buried in that room. It's why the prospect of finally being free, even after years of being held captive, doesn't seem like the salvation it should be. Luckily, if there's anything we're good at, it's keeping things in the family. *Rating will change to mature!*
