The smile on Shu Chen’s face didn’t change, and she was currently talking to another noble lady. The great elder walked to her side at this time, whispering something in her ear. “Son?” Shu Chen said, seeing that he wasn’t responding to her words, and was a little startled at his reaction, or lack of it.

Ever since her son had lost his memories, he had become even more unpredictable than ever. Before this, she could probably guess a little at what he was thinking, but now, she was at a complete loss at the way he worked. The only thing that crossed her mind was that her son had become even more mysterious than ever.

Just like right now. She hadn’t wanted him to be distracted by this matter, it was their wedding day after all.
