You woke up. When you opened your eyes you were facing Spencer. His arm was was wrapped around your waist and your legs were intertwined. He had a small smile on his face and his mop of curls were messy. Both of you were still on your couch

You slowly pushed his arm off and got up. You walked towards the bathroom and there you were again. Looking at the bruises Mike had left. You wanted to break the mirror into pieces not wanting to look at yourself. You wanted to go back to work to distract yourself but Hotch told you and Spencer to take a couple of days. Ironic since Spencer only went back to work for one day. You walked out of the bathroom and made your way into your kitchen. You grabbed a glass of water and ran it over the sink pouring water. Your turned around and saw Mike standing in front of you. An evil grinned on his face. The glass fell out of your hands and shattered on the floor as a startled cry left your mouth

"Well hello Y/n" he smirked

"Y/n?" his hands were reaching for you

You shut your eyes "No please don't"

You opened your eyes again. It was Spencer

"Y/n it's just me it's Spencer" he pulled you to the side away from the glass

"Spencer" you let go of your breath relieved

You wrapped your arms around him and he wrapped his arm around you while his other hand rested on the back of head stroking your hair.

"I'm sorry" you let a tear fall to the floor

He pulled away and wiped away the tear that came after that one

"Don't apologize it's okay" his voice was soft

He lifted you and placed you on the kitchen counter. He walked over to your broom.

"Spencer I can clean it you don't have to be here. It's okay go home" you wiped away your tears and sat up

"No" he walked back to you and his hands landed on your shoulders "You helped me and now let me help you"

You smiled and nodded. He walked back to the floor and carefully picked up the glass and threw it away. Once the floor was clean Spencer walked back to you.

"Thank you" you smiled

"I should be thanking you for encouraging me to take care of myself" he intertwined his fingers with yours

"That's what friends are for" you saw Spencer slightly frown but you didn't want to mess up the friendship you have in this moment. You wanted to at least let it last longer

You pulled him into a tight hug.

"Let's not ruin what we have right now" you whispered into his ear "Please"

He pulled away and smiled. Placing a kiss on your forehead "Of course"

The rest of the day was spent on your couch eating snacks and watching movies all day. You turned to face your window and saw that the sun was beginning to set.

"Spence" you said putting the popcorn bowl onto the coffee table

"Yea?" he said turning his head from the screen towards you

"Come with me" you giggled

"Where?" he quickly put on his converse and stood up

You grabbed his hand and pulled him out into the hallway. Grabbing your keys before you closed the door. You were basically dragging him up three flights of stairs. Reaching the last door you walked out on the roof
