My best friend River and I were taking a walk through the woods, every Friday we would go take walks through here, it was a calm and beautiful place. We decide to sit under a big tree to talk
Y/n:"I'll never get tired of coming to this beautiful place" he laughs
River:"yeah me neither, even though ur too lazy to walk all the way and I have to carry you" I hit his shoulder slowly
Y/n:"hey it was only today besides it's not like I'm heavy"
River:"well..." I do a shocked face he laughs hugging me "I'm joking" I push him slowly
Y/n:"whatever" we stay silent a while we always stay silent it was a thinking space and I loved it. Twenty minutes passed and I felt rivers eyes on me I shrugged it off thinking it was nothing but I could feel him looking directly at me I face him and yep he was looking at me with a smirk I felt my cheeks turn red I smile awkwardly "what?" I laugh he sighs
River:"ur beautiful y/n" I quickly look away more red, I've always liked River since middle school but I know he would never feel that way towards me "and, I like u" I quickly face him
Y/n:"uhh what?" I ask as we both get up slowly he takes my hand
River:"I've always liked u, I was just scared cuz I know u don't feel that same way and——" I grab his face and kiss him, I felt his smile on my lips we pull away for air "does this mean" I laugh
Y/n: "yes dummy I like u two" he lifts me up and spins me in the air I laugh, we fall to the ground me on top of him
River:"y/n?"
Y/n:"yes River" I say playing with his hair "will u be my girlfriend?" I see he blushes I smile and kiss him "is that a yes?" I nod blushing
