Y/n POV
I was currently getting ready to go out with my best friend Wyatt, every Sunday we would go to our favorite pizza place in town, I put n my fav red dress put my hair up in a ponytail and put on some lipgloss and mascara I was heading down while putting on some fancy shoes my mom had bought me for Christmas.
Y/n:they're a knock on the door I knew it was Wyatt I kiss my moms cheek "see u later mom" I open the door Wyatt smiles at me
Wyatt:"ready to go?" I nod we hop in his car "by the way u look really pretty today, i mean u always do" I smile blushing and looking away
Y/n:"thank u" I sigh I've had a big crush on Wyatt ever since we met two years ago he's so sweet and caring but I knew he didn't feel that way about me and he never will. We arrive and head inside and sit on our typical spot next to a window with a beautiful view Wyatt takes off his coat
Wyatt:"it's pretty windy today" he saids breaking the silence I nod in agreement, I see a pretty blond curly headed girl wave at Wyatt I see he smiled wide and waved back the girl walks to our table "hey Caroline" he gets up and they hug I felt my blood boil in jealousy "look this is my best friend y/n, y/n this is my other best friend Caroline" WHAT! Did he really just say OTHER BESTFRIEND im supposed to be his only best friend my cheeks glow red in anger
Caroline:"it's nice to finally meet you y/n I've heard a lot about u" I look at her forcing a smile
Y/n:"nice to meet u two although I've never heard Wyatt tell me anything about the other best friend" I say looking at Wyatt with a raised eyebrow I see he swallows hard. Caroline laughs awkwardly
Caroline:"well I'll leave u too, it was nice seeing u Wyatt" she kisses his cheek I turn to look away "by y/n hope to hang out and get to know u more" I look at her and smile awkwardly nodding Wyatt sits down again
Wyatt;"she's pretty cool isn't she" I face him mad
Y/n:"yeah sure" he raised an eyebrow confused then shrugged his shoulders
Wyatt:I cross my arms in my chest and turn to the window "y/n I have to tell u something"
Y/n:"what is it Wyatt?" I ask still avoiding eye contact
Wyatt:"well, you see, there's this girl" I felt my heart race fast "and I really like her" I look at him surprised and hurt I knew this day would come but I Didn't expect it to be this soon "I just don't want to ruin our friend ship"
Y/n:"she's one of ur friends" I ask pretending to not be hurt
Wyatt;"yeah, best friend actually" he saids looking down at his playful hands i felt everything stop he liked Caroline! I should've known no wonder he got so happy seeing her, I get up mad
Y/n:"I have to go" I run outside I heard him call out my name but I kept running I stop for air next to his car he runs to me
Wyatt:"Y/N WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" I see him with my eyes full of tears ready to come out "what's wrong?" He asks in a soft voice I sigh
Y/n:"that ur Inlove with Caroline" he raises an eyebrow confused
Wyatt:"what?" I sigh
Y/n:"I like you ok, I've always liked you ever since we met Wyatt and I knew one day u would tell me u had fallen Inlove and I would have to accept it, but I can't because I love you" I say as the tears start rolling down my face he puts his sweater over his shoulder and looks down the. Speaks
Wyatt:"y/n I didn't know u felt that way" I clean my face "but I don't like Caroline, I like someone else" o sigh in frustration
Y/n:"it doesn't matter ur still hurting me ok" I turn away to walk home but I feel him grab my hand and pull me towards him then smashes his lips with mine I was surprised but kissed back. We pull away he looks me in the eyes with a smile holding me against his skinny body I raise an eye brow "wh-why'd you kiss me?" I ask in a trembling voice he laughs
Wyatt:"y/n the girl I like is you!" My eyes go wide "that's why today I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend, and give u this" he pulls out a beautiful necklace out of his pocket

I see he opens it forming four hearts I gasp
Y/n:"Wyatt it's beautiful" he smiles looking at me
Wyatt:"I made it" I look at him smiling "I've been working for weeks but here it is May I?" I nod i turn around and he puts the necklace on me I face him "so will u be my girlfriend?" I nod excited
Y/n;"ofcourse I will" he pulls me in to kiss me again
