"You really skipped me?" Kace says staring at me and I laugh at him. I nod and he crosses his arms in disappointment. All of a sudden a small smirk appears on his face. "You are so gonna regret skipping me."
"And why's that?" I say laughing. He always says things like this but doesn't do anything so I know what's going to happen. We continue playing Uno since he didn't answer my question.
"Draw 4 V!" Quinni yells. Everything gasps and laughs. Vivien places a draw 4 on top. Blake places a draw 4 on top of it and Kace looks at me intensely. I am lowkey scared for what is going to happen. "I love you but..." he places a draw 4 and I look at my hand I realize I have to pick up 16 cards. "Haha! I got you!" I laugh at him and kiss him on the cheek. "See she isn't m-" I slap him across the head and he rubs his head. "Ow! Yup, never mind." Everyone laughs.

"Ok so after me it's Adrian?" Layla asked. I nod. She goes to the microphone and starts singing "jingle bells". I am not going to lie but she is a pretty good singer.
"Jingle bells!" Vivien sings and her voice cracks. Vivien can't sing for shit. She knows that because I always tell her and she just sings to annoy me. I love her and I'm glad she loves me too.
"Whooo!" Layla yells out of breath. "Girl! How can you sing without losing you breath?" She asked panting. I laugh and shrug. I don't know because I just sing until I drop. It's what I do.
Singing is a stress relief and it's a hobby. I've always wanted to sing in front of people but I'm afraid I'll make a fool of myself. But Kace always believes in me and is there every step of the way.
"Ok your turn A." Issa says handing me the microphone. Issa is Layla's cousin and we have become very close. She is a bad bitch with a nice singing voice but with a little more vocal practice she will sing magically.
I grab the microphone and search up "All I want for Christmas" on the phone. I play the music and breathe in and out.

After the music is done I open my eyes and see everyone in shock.
"Heh," I put the microphone down. "So cookies?"
"Girl your voice is amazing!" Vivien screams.
"Oh stop it," I say walking towards the kitchen. "Has anyone seen Kace?" I turn around and see everyone point at Kace who is sleeping. "How long?"
"After Uno." They all says with their arms crossed. I laugh and signal them to come to the kitchen.
"So Adrian," Issa says eating the cookie. I look at her as I eat mine. "How long have you guys been together?"
"Well 3 years together and 7 months married." I say blushing. "He is amazing and he is the best husband and thing that has happened to me after something bad." I wash my hands and see that Issa is looking at me confused.
"What happened?" She says drinking water.
"Well it something I don't wanna talk about," I say rubbing my belly.
"Well, you and Kace are really cute." She says smiling. "You guys are perfect for each other." She walks out of the kitchen sassy.
