ZeldaZelda walked even more closer to observe the two flowers.
She zoned out for a moment and let out a small sigh of relief.
'This day felt okay so far. I know I thought the exact same thing yesterday and things got too out of hand in the end. But this feels...slightly better. I don't know why. But it does.
Maybe its because it's like slight bonding?
Maybe because I'm not over thinking as much? But I know my thoughts will hit me at some point.
I'm still so confused with these emotions but...I just don't know right now.'The man stayed the closest to the barn. He smiled to himself.
"I'll let you two have a little privacy."
Zelda flinched at his words and looked up for a moment.
Zelda didn't know how to respond. She just said whatever came out her mouth.
"Oh--uh thank you!"
'Why..
Why did he think me and Link needed Privacy? I--
I shouldn't think too much of it..'
Zeldas thoughts were soon cut off.
The man actually came closer to them instead. "Silly me! I forgot, please use this shovel, it's the least I could do! Once you're done, just lay it on the tree."
As the man placed a small shovel in Zelda's tiny hands, he headed towards his little, cosy-looking house that sat right beside the barn."I'll just go check in on my wife for a moment. See ya in a bit.." He said while he went inside.
...
Zelda called out from behind "Thank you!!"
Once he had gone in, she realised it was just Link and her once again.
She sighed. "Link, would you like to see?"
She waited a few seconds and Link came closer. Zelda didn't want Link to awkwardly watch her bend down and look at flowers on her own. When Link had made it, he stood beside Zelda. They both looked at the flowers below. After a few seconds they crouched down a little around the two flowers.
They both admired the beauty of it once again. The flowers were different in their own way. Although they both were the same type of flower and had a similar look, one appeared strong and firm...the other, delicate and beautiful. They both had bright green stems, and a blue centre, the stigma and anthers were a mixture of yellow and blue. And the petals were pointed and white.
She noticed all this, and she wanted to dig out the fragile one...She knew it was strong inside."This is quite sweet if you think about it. Two lonely yet beautiful flowers....surviving in the wild. They may not know it but...they have eachother. They will help eachother and expand the species, they will do this all together..they will prove themselves worthy. And do it silently together...even if others can't hear, they will prove themsleves."
'Hmm.
Maybe not exactly the same...but this sounds...quite familiar.....I wonder why?
I wonder..'
Zelda spotted Link from the corner of her eye. She didn't want to alarm him and make it obvious that she was staring...just like the first time she saw him. So she didn't turn to face him.
She had come to the conclusion that once again, she was in an awkward yet not awkward situation with him.... Link was very close to her. They both had crouched low to see the flowers. And there was only a slight gap between themselves. It was almost as if their shoulders were touching.
