Being a part of the same colony wasn't easy for Joel or Elizabeth. Despite having lived together for the past six years, they never got along. And, honestly, there wasn't much a person could do if they didn't like someone from their own colony — not when they were all desperately trying their hardest to survive the Monster Apocalypse, anyway.

NEW AUTHOR'S NOTE (one year later): i said it before, but thank u for reading!! i just wanna say that this is not my proudest work. the writing is decent, but i personally think i've improved a lot since i wrote this. nevertheless, i'm still keeping it up because it's my first book and im emotionally attached to it lol. the only thing i ask is that you don't leave any hate comments. they make me feel like shit and i've had to delete a lot of them. other than that, i hope you guys love liz and joel as much as i do!
