A COUPLE DAYS HAD PASSED, AND VEDA FINALLY CAME TO A DECISION: SHE WANTED TO TRY STREAMING. It was difficult, deciding all in all. But George and Karl had walked her through how it would go, and assured her they'd be ready if anything were to go wrong. Dream told her it's rough at first, but with her conversation skills, it wouldn't be tough for long at all.
Plus, Sapnap even started a stream for speedrunning so he could raid her. He did so, and now Veda was preparing herself to face an audience of over twenty thousand people. Going from zero to that number was insane, yet she was the one who agreed to this.
Her camera was pretty good quality, and she had Bedwars ready to go at the click of a button. The stream was set up, and she was in the voice channel with Sapnap as well as George, who were just there talking.
"Ok, Veda, I'm gonna end the stream in about five minutes. Go ahead and start your stream now," Sapnap told her, voice sweet as sugar.
She followed the order and did as she had practiced a few time, and immediately a few hundred people joined from Sapnap mentioning her channel.
"I can't believe this, honestly. I thought you were offline for good, and now—boom! You're like, becoming a streamer. We get to watch you grow," George acknowledged her. Veda grinned, keeping her stream on the home screen of Minecraft.
"You say that as if I'm suddenly gonna be the next Dream or something."
Sapnap scoffed. "Who's to say you can't be?"
"Many, many things. But at least I have awesome friends like you to give me that free clout. Oh, shit, disclaimer—I swear I'm not a clout chaser," she said, earning a laugh out of the boys.
"Guys, Veda is a clout chaser confirmed? Not clickbait? Confirmed?" George mocked further.
"Oh em gee, guys I pinky promise I'm not a clout chaser!"
They stopped the fit of laughter and Veda sighed, going to pull up Bedwars on a server.
"Ok, I think it's about time. You ready for the raid of your life?" Sapnap spoke up, thirty seconds later or so.
"Don't give her time to be ready, just do it surprise mode," George suggested.
Veda gasped, "That's not fair! That is a hate crime, George."
