You can't stop staring at the man in front of you. He's VERY handsome. He has medium length curly brown hair, but the ends are a little bit lighter. His lips are pretty full and the stubble on his face doesn't look scratchy, it's more of an imprint. He has subtle sunken cheekbones and a jawline that can cut diamonds. He's tall too. But you can't stop looking at his eyes- they're a beautiful hazel color, and they're a little dark. You can tell he doesn't get much sleep. Overall he is very attractive.

His hands are in his pockets, and he has a brown satchel on his shoulder. He's wearing a Navy blue and white checkerboard button up shirt under a dark gray and black sweater vest. As if he doesn't have enough layers, he also has a dark gray coat on. He's wearing some black slacks that fall on top of a pair of dark brown shoes.

"Hi, welcome to Professor Davis's behavioral sciences class." You say standing up and reaching out your hand. He doesn't do the same, his hands staying in his pockets.

"Sorry, I have a thing with germs." He says. He smiles a little and you can't help but do it back.

"That's okay, I totally get it. Are you a student here, or are you just listening into the lesson?" You say putting your hands at you sides. You can't stop looking at his eyes.

"Oh, actually I'm the second guest speaker. Professor Davis told you about me on the phone?"

You actually have no idea what he's talking about, but you don't want to seem rude so you lie.

"Oh of course, how thoughtless of me." You say smiling. He does it back, the corners of his mouth lifting a tiny bit. "So what do you specialize in?" You ask.

"I have three BA's and three PhD's in mathematics, chemistry, and engineering." He says. His voice is so soothing. It's smooth and has a nice tone.

"Wow, that's impressive. Where does someone with your skill set work?" You ask, genuinely curious. You've never met someone with so much intellect. He doesn't look that much older than you either.

"I work for the FBI at the Behavioral Analysis Unit."

You gasp a little too loudly, catching him by surprise.

"I applied to the BAU like three years ago! I never heard anything back so I just assumed you guys have been hiring other people or just haven't had any spots open."

You hold your breath a little bit as he inches closer to you and starts to speak.

"Yeah it's a pretty competitive job, and we're busy a lot so the unit chief doesn't always have time to look at applications." He closes his mouth and you two stare at each other for a few seconds. It's a little awkward, but you don't mind it. "What about you, what field do you specialize in?" He says trying to break the silence.

You panic a little trying to recollect your thoughts.

"Oh, um- I have my doctorate in psychology and a double major in sociology." you say. "I actually attended William and Mary, that's one of the reasons I'm here."

He nods his head trying to signify that he's impressed. Part of you feels like he's just doing that to be nice. It's not like you have three PhDs. You're usually pretty proud of your credentials, but after meeting him you feel less impressive.

"That's pretty cool. I actually ran into Professor Davis outside, she told me you're doing your lesson on behaviorism?" His eyebrows furrow and he licks his lips. It makes your insides squirm a little.

"Yes, I have my presentation ready and everything. What about you?"

"Actually most of the lesson is just going to be you, I'm here for criminal terms."

Not even ten seconds after he says that, students start to fill the room along with Professor Davis. You and Dr. Reid take a seat beside the desk and Professor Davis quiets down the room.

"Ok everyone, please settle down. We have two very special guests with us today, both here from DC."
She reaches out her arm towards you. "Dr. y/n y/l/n, a psychology intern and William and Mary alumni, as well as Dr. Spencer Reid, a criminal profiler who works for the FBI in the Behavioral Analysis Unit."

The students whisper a little bit until Professor Davis starts to speak again.

"Now I want you to give them your complete attention and show them your utmost respect. The first part of the lesson will be presented by Dr. y/l/n."

You smile and walk towards the front of the room. As you stand up, Dr. Reid looks at you and smiles a little bit. You turn your head away and smile to yourself again. Suddenly you're in an even better mood then you were before.
