My fingers were cramping from typing so much. More and more orders were coming trough and I was becoming quite impatient as I waited for my hour long lunch break. I only had about fifteen minutes left, but they were beginning to feel more like fifty; all I wanted was my chicken panini.

"I am ready to die," Carly exclaimed from across the room.

I laughed and continued typing. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't feel an ounce of her pain. There was a small knock on the door and it opened slowly to reveal mine and Carly's boss, Dylan Gould.

As always, he was dressed to impress, whether he was wearing jeans or not. Today his look was a bit more casual. He wore a white button up shirt along with a black leather jacket, dark wash jeans, and black boots. His black hair was styled nicely on top of his head and his smile was just as bright as ever.

I smiled and greeted him. "Good afternoon, Dylan."

"Good afternoon, girls. Would you two care to join me for lunch?" he asked.

"We aren't scheduled to leave for lunch for another ten minutes, Mister Gould," Carly informed him.

He chuckled. "Who cares? Ten minutes is nothing. I'll be in the lounge. Oh and by the way, I'm throwing a little party at my house on Saturday. I'd love it if you two would come," he told us.

I smiled. "That would be great! I'll be there."

He winked at me before walking back out the door. I put my computer on lock and stood up. Carly followed my actions and soon enough we were out the door. Our heels clicked against the floor and the sound of it was giving me a small headache. I just couldn't wait to eat my food. Hopefully it would brighten my mood.

"I really hope Sam gets this job," Carly mumbled.

"Where was his interview today?"

"Accuretta Systems," she answered.

I raised my eyebrows. From what I knew, that company was very high maintenance. Working there had been my first choice, but after I was offered the job here, working there was no longer an option for me. I just hoped Sam could manage to actually acquire the job. It would give me some sense of relief, not to mention a sense of proudness at my "brother's" achievement.

"I truly hope he gets the job," I chimed as I pushed the break room door open.

"You and I both."

I walked over to one of the enormous fridges only to be caught by surprise. A frown took over my features as I found that my lunch bag wasn't inside the fridge. The strange thing was that I remembered putting it in here, but then again I was in quite a daze this morning due to my lack of sleep.

"My life sucks," I groaned as I shut the fridge.

Carly was grabbing her lunch from the other fridge. "What's wrong?"

"I left my lunch bag at home and I honestly don't feel like going to get it. By the time I get home and back, my break will be over," I answered her.

She chuckled. "You can share with me. I don't mind."

"Are you sure?"

She nodded. "I know how much you enjoy your chicken paninis. I just so happen to have an extra one," she informed me.

I smiled. "Thank you so much," I exclaimed.

Before she had the chance to respond, the break room door opened to reveal Stephanie. "You two have visitors. They're waiting in the show room," she smirked and walked back out the door.
