Ironhide was speeding down the streets to a destination that was unknown to me. All I really knew was that we were in Virginia, Arlington to be exact. I assumed he was looking for a private place to speak with me and I was thankful for that. The only private place in DC was really the base, but I didn't need everyone to know about this just yet. I would get around to telling everyone, but telling Ironhide was my main concern as of right now.

The rain from earlier had nearly stopped, but I was almost certain that it would pick up sooner or later; the skies were beginning to darken and it was only about four o'clock in the afternoon. I still didn't know how I was supposed to go about telling Ironhide this bit of important information. I knew from my dream that it wouldn't be wise for me to go ahead and tell him I was pregnant, so it seemed as if I was going to have to wing it somehow.

After a few more minutes of driving, Ironhide finally pulled into an isolated field. Once the road was out of sight, he stopped and I quickly got out. I pulled my cardigan over me again and crossed my arms before backing up to give Ironhide some room to transform.

As soon as he felt I was far enough away, that familiar clicking and scraping sound filled my ears. Before long, the large, onyx-colored Cybertronian being I had grown to love knelt before me. My eyes trailed up the length of his mechanical body. The many dents and scrapes he had acquired from years and years of battle were clearly visible on his armor. My eyes met his bright blue optics and they dimmed ever so slightly, probably at the sight of the expression on my face. I was scared though. I was scared of what he may do once I told him and it never once calmed as I looked at him. I just didn't want to lose the best thing that's ever happened to me.

He held his large hand out to me, but I shook my head and took a step back. "You may drop me," I said quietly.

I could see a frown fall upon his face. "You know I would never."

"There's a very strong possibility it may happen after I say what I need to say to you. You may go into shock. I can't take the risk," I retorted. It was for my child's risk actually, but I couldn't very well tell him that just yet.

He gave me a skeptical look, but withdrew his hand. "What's wrong, Lea?"

I looked back to the ground and without thinking, my hand moved down to my abdomen. Even through the thick fabric, I could feel the small bump and I could almost feel the immense amount of life radiating from it. This made me smile ever so slightly and I quickly covered that hand with my other before looking back up at Ironhide.

"Are you aware that you can procreate?" I asked him.

He seemed slightly taken back by the question. "Yes, but it's a completely different method for Cybertronians than it would be with humans."

I raised a brow and pursed my lips. If this were the case, then I wonder exactly what was in that fluid the Sector Seven woman injected into her body. I'd also like to know just what made it so fucking compatible with the human egg.

"That may be true. But, your holoform might as well just be human," I murmured.

"Azalea, what are you talking about?" he asked me.

I chuckled. I could feel my mood changing from scared to playful and I didn't really like it. These mood swings were going to be the death of me. "Ratchet's so smart and just so scientifical, Hide. He forgot to inform you that your holoforms can reproduce, so I'm here to tell you that they can."
