The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet
A Summary of Romeo and Juliet in a sonnetWhen Romeo and Juliet first met
They were sure it was love at first sight
A passion their families wouldn't let
Their love would become a most fatal fightIn secret the two were fittingly we'd
By a trustworthy friar they could confide
It was his devotion that left two dead
Without each other they pled suicideTo love him forever her death she'd fake
A messenger of fate kept the plan untold
He gave his soul for the stars to take
She gave her lonesome chest a knife to holdTheir families came to a peaceful state
But two lovers lost to the hands of fate.June 12, 2014, 10:51 AM
