I Love Her, Just Not Her Shadow (font Garamond 4)
Away from the spotlight
And between the curtain calls
The shadow falls
On a place much quieter
Eyes are attracted to the light
Like moths to a flame
So much noise and fame
But there's a hunger that I can't tame
They say she's a star shining bright
Golden and shimmering
Like a star in the night
I haven't tasted such light
Vases of flowers
Separating us at dinner
From fans she's awed with her powers
Roses and carnations like tall looming towers
JE LEEST
In The Eye
PoëzieSort of like a portfolio, sort of like an autobiography, sort of like a book of poetry and short stories. Well, actually it's all of those things.
