No one ever told me the truth about reality. I had to figure it out myself, and take the crushing blow figuring out how decorated people had made it for me. So I need you to know these things before you're 14..
People aren't always going to love you
People are going to victimize you because they can
People are going to lie to you
People are going to stab you in the back
Some of your friends aren't going to last forever
Some of your friends aren't even going to talk to you unless they want something
Some of your friends are going to smoke weed
Some of your friends are going to get pregnant before they graduate
Your family isn't always going to be there
Your family isn't always going to understand
Your family won't always be able to fix things
Your family won't always make things even a little better
I wish people had told me that.
