Chapter 22

Kaelynn's pov

Christmas is next week and I have to start shopping for gifts for Abel and my friends. I am so bad at buying gifts for people but I try my hardest to find something that I think they would like. Abel and I have been good he's been working on music a lot, I haven't seen him in 4 days but I understand that he needs to focus on music. He will be going back to Canada for the holiday he is only going to be here for 2 more days and I still don't have a gift for him. What do I get a man that can buy everything he wants? Before I got out of bed my phone vibrated it's a text from Abel.

"Good morning Kay, sorry for canceling last night I promise I will make it up to you."

I smiled then replied "Good morning and stop apologizing I understand why you canceled."

A few seconds later he replied "You're the best, see you later love."

I put my phone down and got out of bed Jasmine, Caleb, and I are going to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. After I took a shower I got dressed in a long sleeve pink shirt, blue jeans, and black and white Jordans. Last night I braided my hair so that it would wavy and as I take them down now I can see that I like it. I walked into my living room to see Caleb and Jasmine on the couch talking.

"Finally Kk it took you forever to get ready." Caleb said.

I rolled my eyes and said "I didn't know you were here so I took my time getting dressed."

"Let's just go before the mall gets crowded." Jasmine said while standing up.

"Ok I'm driving." Caleb said

We left my apartment and made our way to the mall. When we got there we had to hunt down a parking space. After 10 minutes of driving around we finally found a parking spot by the side entrance. The inside of the mall is filled with people trying to find gifts.

"I think we should split up and meet back at the car in 4 hours." Caleb said.

Jasmine and I shook our heads in agreement before walking our own separate ways. I've already gotten a gift for my mom and dad I just need to get something for my friends and Abel. As I walked around a store for men I didn't see anything to get the crew or Abel. This is so fucking difficult.

Abel's pov

Finally home from the studio I am so tired. I went up to my room and went straight for the bed. I haven't seen Kaelynn in about 4 days I was supposed to go over to her place yesterday but I got a new idea for a song so I had to stay at the studio. I'm glad she doesn't get mad when I can't come see her. I will be going back to Canada for Christmas in a few days so I have to make time to see her.

Kaelynn's pov

I met Jasmine and Caleb by the car I have about 4 bags and each of my hands. I found everyone a gift so now I get to relax and actually enjoy the holiday season.

"Caleb can you help me." I said while holding my hand out so he can take a few bags out of my hands.

"Sure Kk, and you sure do have a lot of bags." Caleb said while putting the bags in the trunk of his car.

Before getting in the car I said. "Yeah I've meet a lot of new people."

As we drove through the trafic I looked out the window. "So what did you get your boyfriend for Christmas?" Jasmine asked.

Caleb chuckled before saying "What boyfriend? She doesn't have a boyfriend."

"Are you trying to be funny Caleb because I don't recall you having a girlfriend and Jasmine I got him something very special." I said.
