Chapter 11

Kaelynn's pov
September 3.

Today is Calebs birthday and we are going to have fun. I brought him some shoes that he wouldn't stop talking about. Today I am off of work and it's going to be a day of relaxing and a night of turning up.For his birthday some of his friends are going out to eat then we are going to the club. I have spoken to Abel but whenever he calls he sounds sleepy so we don't talk long. Since I'm not going out till night time I'm going to catch up on some tv shows that I have missed.  I got out of bed and went to make something to eat.  It's only 11am so I made some waffles and bacon. In the middle of eating my phone rang it's Caleb.

"Happy birthday Caleb." I said before he could say anything.

"Thanks Kk."

"How's your birthday been so far."

"It's been a little boring I have been at home alone watching tv."

"Awwl it's going to get better as the day passes I promise."

"It better anyway what are you doing."

"Eating." I said while stuffing my mouth with waffles.

I heard him chuckle and he said "I will let you get back to your food."

"Ok see you Later."

I hung up the phone and continued to eat. As I went to put my plate in the sink I realized I need to wash my dishes. I put on some music and I got to washing dishes. After I washed my dishes I went back into my room and started watching tv.

7:30pm

I have to leave the house at 8:30 so it's time for me to get dressed. I went in the bathroom and took a shower and wash my hair. When I came out I blow dried my hair and made it curly. I got dressed in a white sheer long sleeve top, black pants with one white strip on the sides of the pants, and black heels. By the time I was done it was 8:26 I put on some perfume and some lip gloss. I took a quick picture and put it on instagram. On the way out of the apartment I grabbed my purse and Calebs pesent.

When I got to the restaurant I saw Calebs male friends and their girlfriends. Since everyone had a date except Caleb and myself I felt a little awkward. I got out of my car and walked over to them.

"Hi everyone." I said while putting on a somewhat fake smile.

They all looked me up and down then they said hello in there own way. Then they went back to doing what they were doing before I came. None of them tried to make conversation with me so it made me felt like I didn't belong here. I looked around saw that Caleb was no where to be found.

"Where is Caleb."

Someone tapped me on the shoulder and said "Here I am Kk."

I turned around gave him a big hug.

"Hi birthday boy." I said feeling a big relief of not being alone anymore.

He said hello to all his friends and then we all went I to the restaurant. We got a table in the corner and I sat next to Caleb. The waiter came up and introduced himself to us and then went to get our drinks. I got a sprite but I wanted some liquor to loosen me up a little. Everyone went back to talking to with each other and once again I was left out. If it wasn't for Caleb's birthday I would have never came.

"Kk are you ok you haven't said anything all night."

"Yeah I'm ok."

"Are you sure."

"Yes I'm fine."

He looked like he wanted to say something else but he didn't. A few minutes later the waiter came and took our order I got a chicken wrap and french fries.
