It was the 31st night and the night before new year and as every other years 31st night you and your cousin's friends were having your little party in which you guys had a very strick rule of a truth and dare game . None of you could deny doing a dare or If you lied for a question it will only result in you doing something utterly risky, so no body dared to deny doing what was said and because of that bow you stood in your balcony at 1:30 am with no one around, what was the dare to stand out alone with all haunted silence and only the dogs barking occasionally. "remember twenty minutes alone here. " you friends aid as she moved inside and locked the door, leaving you alone.

You took in a deep breath and leaned forward on the railing, you could here the small insect sounds and then looked up at the sky that was filled with stars and moon, a smile graced your face as you took in the peaceful sky, you absolutely loved star gazing and this dare didn't scared you at all, it only made you even more happy to out all alone and at such a time but you couldn't do that mostly because of parents restrictions, you sighed thinking about all that worried you and then looked towards your right. You looked at the silent road ,then you heard the dogs barking as they came into view you saw that they were facing towards the house next to the house just facing your's, it confused you a little as to what could be there at the terrace at such an even time when the only people living there was a old couple. You looked up at the terrace with curiosity and what you saw made you a bit anxious, you saw a pair of shinning eyes . Your heart beat raced as you saw the eyes looking towards you, your mind went blank with shock as you kept on straight towards that unknown. Was it real ? Or was it a hallucination? You decided to close your eyes and take in a deep breath to calm down your racing heart, when you opened back your eyes and looked at the same place there was nothing you saw nothing . You sighed Looking down at your hands, "come on y/n what do you expected?, a ghost? Nah then what? " you questioned yourself and then face palmed. "I am such an idiot. " you commented sighing and then again starting star gazing, as you looked at the stars you started to think about your life , just as the stars stars seems far your dreams, goals also seemed far for you . You head hunged low as tears started to form in your eyes, it was not possible for you to do anything you wished , your family won't allow you to get out of this city if you aren't married and you knew if you would get married all your dreams will be crushed. Surely it was a long time to get but you still couldn't stop worrying about it and you couldn't deny that your faith will be a enemy of your dreams, it could only be possible if a miracle would happen. "seriously this is why I think I am stupid, I am wishing for a miracle that doesn't happens, come on y/n be a little mature. " you were trying to convince yourself to be a little logical but a little part inside you was praying for a miracle. You sighed wiping your tears and taking in a deep breath, then you again started to look around for the next five minutes before the dare was completed and you were called back inside, as you took your seat all your friends gave you curious looks. "you saw something unusual? " your friend asked you and you shook your head in a no, you didn't wanted to talk about those gleaming eyes, it was weird but you didn't wanted to make false assumptions as you knew it will only lead to false news blaring around. "really nothing? " your friends questioned a little down and you sighed nodding. "now let's continue." you announced and they all agreed as no one wanted to even waste a second before pulling another person in a dangerous dare. The whole night was passed this way ,you all went to sleep after seeing the sunrise. The next day you were mostly home because that's where you are always , you friends and some cousins came during the day for a small party which mostly consisted of food music and dancing. When it all ended it was already evening and they all left one by one saying they have to be home before the curfew time, you waved them all goodbyes and then went inside your house ,
"y/n get me the slipper which are kept in the balcony." your mother shouted and you looked towards the balcony's door, "on it. " you shouted back and sprinted to the balcony as soon as you stepped out you scanned for the slippers and found them, you being you slipped on the slipper with a mischievous smile and then looked at the road , as soon as your eyes landed on the house infornt of yours you saw someone standing infront of there door and looking straight at you. The person was slender yet muscular, was a good tall and handsome, his seemed extremely pale like he had not had much sunlight for a long time and you don't what was about him that you quite a while stood there looking at him. When you realized that you were gwaking at him you quickly averted your gaze as your cheeks started to burn pink, to get away from the embarrassment you quickly walked inside your house and locked the door to your balcony. Who was he?, was it just some strange guy? Or was he someone who had something to do with you?, his stare was kinda creepy, it made you feel goosebumps, you shook your head trying to get all the questions out of your mind and run to your mother give her the slippers.
