Will You Go To Prom With Me?

Shuichi pov:

A bit of time has passed since I last kissed kokichi, I'm afraid he might of lost feelings for me. What if he has? I begin to feel my heart ache. That's strange, he was the one questioning my love for him and now I seem to be questioning his love for me. I began to feel my heart physically sting, I didnt want him to leave me. We practically act like a couple sometomes, why aren't we together? Are we both just too scared to lose eachother?

"shuichi?"
Kokichi stood over my bed, looking concerned.
"H-huh?"
"are you okay? The others are in gym, eating breakfast together, we all agreed we'd meet today to discuss prom. Why haven't you joined us?"
"oh.. Sorry kichi, I'm coming"

I got up out of bed and walked with kokichi to the gym. I felt my heart ache more. There's this constant voice in my head, its so loud. Make it stop. We are both happy together even if it's platonic. Why are you doing this-

Kokichi opened the door.

"ah,shuichi. There you are" rantaro smiled.

"sorry about that.."

Kokichi pulled my arm down, making me sit.

"SOOOOO SHUICHI, WHO YOU ASKING TO PROM HUUUH?" miu said knowing I was planning on asking kokichi.
"shut up..."
"HA! YOURE RED!"
miu started laughing uncontrollably,causing the everyone else to begin being loud too.

Kokichi turned to face me.
"is everything okay?"
"mhm."
"are you sure?"
"...."

I so badly wanted to tell him how I felt, and ask him if he would like to go with me. But I have a fear that he lost feelings. Its too late.
"kokichi... Will...you...."

"WILL - WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME?"
The damage has already been done.
"of course I will!" he smiled.

I felt my face heat up.

Guess I was just overthinking, phew.

The whole room went silent.

"WHAT? DONT TELL ME YALL ARE SOME STINKIN HOMOPHOBES!"
"miu, honey no one here is homophobic. We are just a little shocked, that's all" kaede giggled, I notice miu blushing.
"Y-YEAH.."

I looked at kaito.
He was sat next to Maki, didn't seem to be paying much attention. Phew.
Now that that's out of the way....
IM GOING TO PROM WITH SHUICHI!!!!
I silently fangirled.
Everything is just falling into place, I thought it would only get worse but..
