I open the door and run inside to Veronica.

"Ronnie! Stay with me! Open your eyes, please!"

There's so much blood. There's stab wound in her stomach.

Why'd it have to be have to be her?

I put my hand right below her nose.

She's not breathing!

I check her pulse.

She's gone.

SIKE!!

That's not what rlly happened just wanted to give y'all a scare. This is what rlly happened⬇️

Why did this happen?

How could this happen?

Why am I seeing this?

Why me?

Does she not care about me?

Am I not good enough?

All these questions course through my mind.

I don't what to think. Right now,

I'm seeing my girlfriend. Veronica.

The one that I cuddled with.

The one that I kissed.

The one that I said I LOVE YOU to.

In bed making out with another girl.

I don't know what to feel. I feel a tear fall and quickly wipe it off my face. I take a picture of the scene in front of me and as I'm about to leave, I hear her open the door and start to speak.

"Baby, what are you doing here?"

I don't speak. I don't look at her. I just look at the sky, hoping to find some answers.

"Babe. What's wrong."

"Who was that?" I ask her, my voice cracking slightly.

"Who?"

"Oh don't play dumb with Veronica who were you just kissing?" this time, my voice is filled with clear hurt and anger.

"Artemis seriously what are you talking about?"

I just shake my head at her and send her the photo I took.

"Do you know what I'm talking about now?"

"Baby... I can expla-"

"Don't Veronica. I don't feel like dealing with your bullshit right now."

And with that, I climb down the balcony and walk to my car. Tears continue spilling out but I keep on wiping them. I force myself to stop crying when I get home. I see mom and dad on the couch watching a movie. I walk behind them and hug them both from behind giving them each a kiss on their cheek.

"Hey bambina. How'd it go with your new recruits?" dad asks.

"It went well. They're all settled in, their training will start in two days."

I know they can tell something's wrong by my voice and because dad takes my hand and pats the seat between him and mom. I happily oblige and sit between while they wrap their arms around me. They don't ask me what's wrong. They don't make any movements other than caressing my hair and rubbing arm. They just sit there hugging me knowing I needed it. After a while, I yawn and mom speaks up.
