Chapter 22

Halloween

"No.....no...no...no...n- wait....mmmm yes!"

I say excitedly as I grab the last piece of jewelry I need. Halloween is just around the corner and the girls and I thought it would be a good idea to make our own costumes instead of buying them. So, we decided to come to the mall to get some finishing touches to complete our costumes.

I walk up to the cash register and pay for the items before heading to the food court. We all agreed to meet up there when we were done shopping. When I get there, I see Mia and Ziya already there. We wait a few minutes more until Cora and Kate come. We all decide to get some food before heading back to my house.

We all agree on Shake Shack because they have THE best burgers in the world. The food soon comes to our table and we start eating. We talk about what we bought while we eat. We don't know what each other's costumes looks like or who's dressing up as what. We finish our food soon and go back home.

As soon as we get in the house, we all go to our separate rooms to finish our costumes. The Halloween party is tomorrow so we have to finish today. I take out my costume and hang it on the back of my door. I then take the jewelry I recently bought and put it on my desk. Now all I have to do is wait until it's time to get ready.

Skip to 2 hours before the party

I have 2 hours to get ready until the Halloween party, so I start getting ready. I do my hair, put on my dress, shoes, jewelry, I do my makeup and finally, I put on my crown. I look at myself in the mirror, then I look at the clock and see I've used up all of my 2 hours. I walk out my room and towards the front door where I see the rest of my friends who all look amazing.

Mia is dressed up as Jasmine, Kate is dressed up as a ninja, Cora is dressed up as little red riding hood but she put a little twist to it, and Ziya is dressed up as Mal from Descendants, except she doesn't have the hair. And I'm dressed up as the Greek Goddess, Artemis. I know, weird but whatever.

(And yes, dress #1 won the vote, but I may change it over time.)

The boys already knew what their girlfriends were dressing up as so they could match us. Levi is dressed up as a Greek God to match me, Sean is dressed up as the prince version of Aladdin to match Mia, Xander is dressed up as an assassin to match Kate, Ryder is dressed up as King Ben from Descendants to match Ziya, and Kyle is dressed up as vampire because they couldn't find any good wolf costumes.

We all get into separate cars, me, Levi, Xander, and Kate in my hummer and others all went in Ryder's car. We soon pulled up to the party and walked in. For the rest of the night, we partied and had the time of our lives.

Sorry for not updating sooner. I've been busy with school, my other book, and I'm writing a new book as well. Although that won't come out until I finish Forgive and Forget.
