Chapter 21

Prom

"How about this one?"

"Nah."

"Nope."

"Too flashy."

"Yeaa nooo."

Me and the girls were out shopping for my prom dress. They already had theirs. We went out yesterday but didn't find anything. I've tried on at least 25 different dresses and I'm starting to lose hope. I start walking back to the dressing room when I see it. I take the dress off the rack and go try it on. Lucky for me, it fits perfectly.

I walk out to the others who are arguing and stand in front of them waiting for their reaction. Kate sees me first. She looks at me and gawks.

"O..M...G.... YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!" she says, catching the attention of the others.

"That's the one!!"

"Absolutely beautiful."

"You should totally get it."

I turn around to see myself in the mirror behind me.

"I think this is the one too."

I go back to the dressing room to put my clothes on and pay for the dress. We leave the store and go buy shoes and makeup. Once we finish shopping, we walk back to the car and drive back to my house. When we get there, we walk up to my room and put my dress and shoes in the closet with the others and the makeup on my vanity.

Me and the girls then make sure we have everything we need to get ready for tomorrow. Kate and Mia thought it would an amazing idea to go to the spa, get our hair done, and get our nails done since prom doesn't start until 7:30. 

We all have different dresses in different styles obviously, but we all decided to have similar jewelry. We're all going to be wearing diamond earrings, necklaces, and tiaras. I know, we're extra. But hey, it's prom and it's a perfect time to look extra, why waste it? Kate's words, not mine. But I still agreed with it nonetheless.

The boys, and by boys I mean our dates, will be getting ready at headquarters. This prom is for all the highs school students, so they're holding it in a huge ballroom.

We talk about prom and how excited Kate and Mia are until the girls all go to the guests rooms and get ready bed. Tomorrow is going to be a good day.

Prom Day

I wake up to the sun shining through my windows. I sit up in bed to stretch and yawn before getting out of bed. Kate and Mia have specifically told us to not do any kind of skin care, so I the only thing I have to do is brush my teeth and get dressed. I get dressed in sweatpants and a comfortable blouse since we're going to be moving around a lot and grab my keys to my hummer before walking downstairs.

I see the girls all waiting in the kitchen and once they see me, they get up and we walk to the garage. We all get in my hummer, me driving, Ziya in the passenger, and the others in the back. We decide to go to a cafe for some breakfast. We pull up to the cafe and order.

I get cinnamon waffles, Ziya and Mia get French toast, Cora gets bacon, eggs, and banana bread, and Kate gets French toast with a small cinnamon waffle.

We decide to go to Starbucks to get some drinks after we finish eating our food and pay. We go through the drive thru and order. A Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade for Cora, a Pink Drink for Mia, a Very Berry Hibiscus for Ziya, an Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink for Kate, and a Strawberry Açaí Lemonade for me.

After getting our drinks, we drive to the spa. When we walk in, we get changed in fluffy white robes and we all go different ways. I start by getting a facial which was refreshing, then I got a massage which felt absolutely amazing, I then got my nails done and they look amazing, then the girls and I met up at the hot tub, and then we all went to the steam room where we spent most of our time.
