"Say that again? I think i'm hallucinating? You said that Tommy and Eric went into my dimension to get my next door neighbor and her son to come here. To bait Gene into, what submitting?" You asked, moved slightly away from Paul, as he ran a hand across his face.

"When you were sleeping we decided it. They can get them. And they are safe with Eric and Tommy. You've seen Tommy and Eric's abilities." Paul said as you went to get up from the bed and going to your dresser, changing out of the cotton shorts you have been wearing an opted for jeans. Struggling to put them on you sighed.

Curse this pregnancy, you thought as you whirled around on him.

"This is your fault you know that right?" You said, as he was behind you in a second, his arms going around your stomach.

"I don't remember you disliking anything about the conception process. Either time that it was." He said nuzzling your neck, trying to calm you down as you left your pants unbuttoned with a frustrated sigh.

"I should've gone with them." you said as Paul groaned against your neck.

"We talked about it. We decided between the three of us that I would be staying back with you. We wouldn't have you going there into something when you are pregnant." he said as you stepped out of his hold and looked back at him.

"So now I can't do anything because I'm pregnant? What if I wasn't right now then?" You asked, your voice raising in anger as Paul noticed things all around the room started vibrating.

"No, regardless I wouldn't have let you gone. You're my mate, and I wouldn't want to see you go through that portal again and not come back. I know it was only for 2 days but those were the hardest two days of my life. I thought you up and decided that you weren't going to come back. So no I wouldn't let you go through that portal alone ever again. And certainly not now while you're pregnant." Paul said, trying to keep his voice level.

All you did was stare at him, before walking out of the bedroom and to the kitchen, hearing his following steps from behind you. Opening up the fridge you took the container of blood and poured a generous amount into a cup for yourself and one of Paul.

Surely all this tension was due to having to feed right? You thought, feeling the anger almost coming off of you in waves at the thought that all three of them were making decisions without you.

You passed the cup to paul who downed it like a shot of alcohol. All of it in one gulp, as you saw something flash across his eyes as he licked his lips. His eyes still trained on you, as you sipped at your blood.

"I know you aren't done. So have at me." Paul stated, as you gripped the glass cup in your hand until it cracked, sending shards of glass to the kitchen floor.

"I'm just tired of you, thinking that you can sway me in any direction you need me to through sex or blood or both. If I'm your mate you shouldn't treat me like that." You said, feeling the tears starting to well in your eyes.

"If you see me as your mate. I should be apart of the decisions too, not just thought of as a plaything for you to fuck and then leave. I can see why Gene's omega left, why she didn't want to be around him." You said as you stepped over the glass, walking out of the house and not stopping until you were sobbing, trying to gulp down air.

You didn't know how long you spent outside, amongst the fields until you were walking back to the house and checking over your garden. Taking tops off some herbs, and going to water them, as you heard the door open and Paul come out.

You didn't bother to look in his direction as you continued on your task, but slower to avoid talking to him.

"I'm sorry that you don't see yourself as my equal. I didn't know you felt that way." he said, as your eyes went to meet his and all you saw was him. Completely and wholly sorry for making you feel lesser than.

He held out his hand for you to take as you put the watering can down, as you both walked back into the house.

"And as my equal, I think as your mate I should show you how to hunt. So get changed, we can take our aggressions out on the wildlife around us."
