"SO (L/N), you don't have any plans for later tonight, do you?" Hange questioned as we arrived at our respected doors.

'Tonight?' I thought, not even processing their question.

"I didn't even realize it was that late," I muttered.

They lightly chuckled at my reaction, "As I was saying, you don't have anything to do, yes?"

"Oh right, no I don't have anything to do," I responded, finally answering the question.

"Seems it really is my lucky day after all," Hange commented under their breath before continuing. "Would you like to go to town with me?" They asked.

"Town? Isn't there a curfew in effect? Plus, you need sleep as well." I mentioned.

"I haven't even mentioned what it's for and you're already tensing up again." Hange whined, "That 'gathering' is soon and we need to get our lovely apparel one day." They added sarcastically.

"And you want that day to be today?" I confirmed with them.

"The things in two days, might I remind you." They noted, allowing me to process that what they were saying was pure facts.

"Are you sure you want to leave 'right now?' section commander?" I questioned for confirmation.

"Yes, it's not like I'm a baby that needs sleep every moment of the day! Come on now (L/N)."

"I suppose you're right, it is in two days." I accepted, knowing they were right but still believed they needed sleep.

Either way, I had more things to worry about.

"Great, we meet out here in ten minutes. Just wear whatever and we'll be on our merry way, 'Kay?" They asserted.

With a silent nod, we both went our separate ways as I entered my room.

I was still confused about that disgusting outburst in my mind back there but now I had to push it to the back of my mind.

'The matter as of right now was finding out what I was going to wear' I scolded myself, walking over to the closet.

It felt like hours of searching when in reality it had only been a few seconds.

I couldn't understand why I was feeling so weird about this, it was like I was looking for something that fit 'perfect' for the time. Not 'perfect' as in 'this fits me perfectly' or as in the 'dress is perfect.'
