Part 35

~~~ at the league of villains~~~

"Good morning Midoriya , can I come in ?" Toga asked as she opened the door enough to just slip her hand through.

No reply.

"Izuki ?" Toga questioned again as she popped her head through the gap . "Awwhhh" she cooed as she looked intently at Izuki's sleeping figure.

"Toga , what are you doing ?!" Dabi whisper yelled as he stood behind her . "She's sleeping , get outta here. Toga put the needle down"

"Uggghh. Just a smaaalll drop Dabii " Toga complained as she slipped the needle back into her sleeve and leaned against Dabi's figure .

"She looks peaceful compared to yesterday" Dabi added , ignoring Toga's whines.

"Hmmm , we should speak to Shigi about what happened"

"Yeah "

And with that Dabi and Toga walked to the bar , unsurprised that Shigaraki and Kurogiri were already there.

"Good morning you two" Kurogiri greeted happily as he put two cups of hot cocoa on the bar table.

"What happened last night ?" Dabi asked , leaving no room for the normal morning small talk.

"Get the others. It'll save me the trouble of explaining it all over" Shigaraki said monotonously as he picked on the gloves gifted to him by Kira and Osamu. He'd never admit it , but he'd grown fond of them after that day. Before they were just puppets he had on his strings , but now they had rooted themselves so deeply into this family that if they were to be removed , other roots would come undone.

Dabi nodded and woke everyone else up , walking back with a still sleepy Yoshi cradled in his arms. "She wanted to be included on what happened with 'big sis izuki'" he explained as he sat her down near the bar table and gave her his hot cocoa , ruffling her hair before placing his head on top of Toga's. "We're all here , now fill us in. Is it to do with that quirk enhancement thing or whatever you had Kurogiri and Yoshi make ? That thing that you injected into Midoriya?"

Kurogiri put down his mug and opened his mouth to reply , "Not exa-"

"In other words , yes. We didn't expect it to have such an impact though , but I'm guessing seeing her presumed dead father after all that's happen , acted as a sort of trigger , making her lost quirks ... miraculously return somehow. It's still a mystery to us honestly, but that's all the more reason to keep her safe. Who knows what would happen if she escaped , can you imagine what the heroes would do if they saw her outburst ? They'd lock her up. She'd never be a kid again" Shigaraki interrupted, not meeting anyone's gaze but staring cautiously at Izuki's door.

Everyone nodded in a agreement and shuddered as they thought about what could happen if the hero society found out.

Izuki would've been labeled a threat , a disaster ... a monster .

"So , what do you suppose we do ? How are we supposed to get Compress , and what are we supposed to do about her freaking out ? She saw her dad and nearly demolished this place. What will she do when she finds out he's OFA , what he sent was clearly a clone of what he used to look like before he got turned into a nutsack , who snitched ?" Toga asked , stirring her hot cocoa and looking sadly at Shigaraki.

"I- about Compress , I've got a plan. And as for AFO , he's never getting his hands on izuki. We'll make sure of that ," Shigaraki lowered his gaze and picked at the gloves on his hands , "we have a month to prepare. In that time , we'll help Midoriya control her new quirks and get her cleaned up. She'll need the help , learning how to use two new quirks while still having another isn't going to be easy. We'll also recruit some more villains , plan another surprise attack on the school or at the edge of one of the closest cities , perhaps an amusement park at night , there won't be many civilians at that time , hopefully. We'll create a commotion big enough to get all the pros to where we are , once we've got most of them that's where Toga and Kurogiri will come in. They'll sneak into UA and retrieve Compress , once we're sure his safe we'll complete our mission. Fixing the so-called-hero-society."

"Dabi and I will work on getting new recruits. We heard that there's been an uprising from the market , I'm sure we'll have some influence over there."
Toga added as looked thoughtfully at Dabi , the wounds he'd gotten from Bakugou's rage attack were beginning to heal , and thanks to Kurogiri and Yoshiko it was healing faster.

Everyone nodded then began discussing the itty bitty gritty details of the plan that would bring back Compress and would lead them to victory.

They had a month to plan this , and they were not about to let it go to waste. They've spent and done too much to not win.

Little did they know that Midoriya had heard everything and was now making a plan of her own. The fact that AFO actually her dad had left her heart aching and body trembling, but she had other things that were more important right now. That was not her father , her father had died the day he failed to come home. She had All Might now , and he was doing his best.

The LOV weren't bad guys , villains , they're just misunderstood. Victims who weren't saved and were showed the ugliest part of humanity and had to deal with it in the only way they could.

It was survival of the fittest.

Izuki couldn't let them all end up in Tartarus after what she had learned about them. The league was a family , that meant that they had to be kept together. She wouldn't allow them to rot and to be kept apart. She is going to save them , even if it's the last thing she ever does.

Because that's what Hero's do.

And she's going to become number 1.
