Part 34

~~~ meanwhile at UA~~~

"What do you mean you didn't get another out of Compress ?! I know I'll get some answers if you just let me talk to him" Bakugou yelled through gritted teeth.

Aizawa , Principal Nezu , Kirishima , All Might and the rest of the pro hero teachers all looked to each other and then at the steaming Bakugo who had been walking around in circles as his hands flared with sparks.

All Might walked towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder , "Young Baku-"

"Give me permission to get my hero suit and go out on patrols , it's the least I can do !" Bakugo protested as he moved further away from All Might and closer towards kiri , "we're getting nowhere just sitting around and I highly doubt that you're going to take me to that bastard Compress !"

"Bakugou calm down-" Aizawa tried interrupting.

"No ! You don't get to tell me that ! Izuki- she ... she was right there Sensei ! Right there ! And I couldn't do anything ! I was too late to reach her" Bakugou cried out and slumped against Kiri's shoulder , "maybe if I was just faster I could've-"

"This isn't your fault Bakugou, no one blames you and we're certain Izuki doesn't as well so stop blaming yourself. Your judgment is clearly clouded with anger and you aren't going to get anywhere if you keep on blowing up" Nezu said as he hopped of Aizawa's shoulder and strolled towards Bakugou and Kiri , "we're doing all we can. We're having some friends of Aizawa Sensei's , the police force and many pro heroes helping out with this , and I'm sure they'll be able to get things done. I mean , they are the best of the best after all"

Bakugou showed no sign of calming down. He was fuming and there was nothing anyone could do about it. He stormed off and slammed the door closed as he left for who knows where.

"Kirishima , keep an eye on him and see if you can get Todoroki to help you out. Worst case scenario Todoroki freezes him ... but it's better then having him rampage. Notify us immediately if he does anything drastic" Aizawa sensei said as walked towards his desk and began sifting through some more files.

Kirishima nodded , sent a text to Todoroki then left. He had to find his best bro before he got himself killed or uh arrested. Ya know , whichever suited his mood better at that time.

"Bakubro ! Wait up !" Kiri yelled as he closed the distance between him and the furious blonde.

"Leave me alone shitty hair !" Bakugou growled back.

Kirishima placed his arms around Bakugou and activated his quirk.

"Oi ! Let go off me ! Shitty hair I swear I'll blow your ass up !"

"Bakubro listen to me ! You're head isn't in the right place right now ! It's like you're gone rogue !" Kiri yelled back as deactivated his quirk and turned Bakugou around to face him with his hands on his shoulders , "Please try and calm down so you can think straight. You being like this isn't going to help us to find Midoriya!"

Bakugou took a few deep breathes before he sunk onto his knees and hid his face in his hands. "Fuck , I'm supposed to be the level headed one. I'm supposed to-" he croaked.

"I know, I know" Kiri said patting his head.

The bros stayed like that for a moment before Bakugou pulled his phone out of his pocket and stood up. He took a deep breath and wiped his eyes then looked over at Kiri who gave him an understanding and encouraging smile.

"Shouto" Bakugou said handing Kiri his phone. "Call him up for me"

Kiri gladly took his phone and dialed Todoroki before handing it back.

"Icy ho- , I mean Shouto ..."

"Where are you right now ?"

"We just walked out of the teachers office thingy so in that hall way"

"I'm on my way"

"Thank you" Bakugou said as he ended the call and slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"Okay listen up"

"Wait for Todoroki Bakubro , that way you don't have to re-explain anything"

Bakugou nodded and they both stood in the hall for a bit before Todoroki showed up.

"Pity I didn't get Midoriya's location sent to me" Todoroki kidded as he stood in front of them.

"A pity ..." Bakugou replied.

"Let's go outside , but first we should get a few things. We'll meet up later tonight at around 10 , everyone should be asleep by then. " kirishima added.

Todoroki and Bakugou nodded before they all headed off to their dorms to get a bag packed.

They packed a bag and tried to get some rest. Bakugou only falling asleep because Kiri spiked a drink he brought him. They both fell asleep relatively quickly in their respective dorms.

But our little icy hot bastard wasn't having the greatest luck in getting some rest ...

Todoroki shuffled in his bed onto his back and stared at his ceiling. "Midoriya ... where are you ?" Todoroki grumbled as he stretched his arm out towards the ceiling. "I miss your smile. I'm - im so sorry I couldn't help you. But I'm going to get you back. You have my word"

And with that thoughts and memories of Izuki overwhelmed Todoroki causing him to have nightmares of what could happen to her when he eventually fell asleep ...

Was that a sort of confession from Todoroki? Damn.

First I wanna apologize to everyone about how short this chapter is and I know it took a while and most of that was my fault. My Wattpad was acting up for a bit but it finally got fixed up. Don't forget to update guys and stay safe.

Yeah. So my school year has finally ended and I hope to finish this ff before starting school again next year. Fingers crossed and I wish you all the best of luck
