"What the fuck Sam" My voice broke when she was standing in front of me

"Addy" A weak smile appeared on her face

"Where have you been?"

"I- I" She stuttered

"Come in" I mumbled, moving away from the entrance

We both sat down on the kitchen island and my palms cupped my face "You left me without a word Sam. I was crying every single fucking day! I was so worried"

"I know and I'm so sorry"

"Those words won't cure the phases of depression this forced me through"

"Listen Addy, I had to go-" My phone started ringing, it was Corpse

"Corpse, I'll call you in a few minutes hold on" I spoke into the mic as I hung up

"Who's Corpse?" Sam asked

"Where were we?" I purposely changed the subject

"Right.. I had to go because of a family business"

"Then why couldn't you just tell me? Why didn't you take 5 minutes off of your time to call me and to assure me that you're ok?"

"I made a mistake, I know"

"Yeah, you did" I sighed "Why're you here anyway?"

"I'm moving back to my old house and I just wanted to let you know"

"Ok" I answered with no facial expression

"Ok.." She stood up and walked towards the door "I'm so sorry Addy, you have every right to hate me"

"I don't hate you Sam, I'm just disappointed and hurt"

"I love you" Tears were running down her cheeks and I just shook my head

"I loved you"

I watched as she got in her car, rubbing her tears away

"Care to explain?" Liv raised her brow

"I'm so confused Olivia.. She just comes in and apologizes for everything and then tells me she loves me?"

She sat down next to me and gave me a hug "It'll be okay, Addy"

Tears were forming in my eyes as I hugged her back "Why's life so hard on me? I can't take this anymore"

She cupped my face "You're so unbelievably strong Addy, I know it. Remember when the school bully attacked us? Yeah you pushed her to the fucking ground and started pulling her hair"

I started giggling "Thank you for everything, Liv"

"Everything for you bestfriend"

I wiped away my tears and called Corpse back

"Hey, Corpse I was busy I'm so sorry" I sniffed

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah.. Yeah it's a long story"

"I have a lot of time" He assured me

"I don't even know where to start" I shook my head "My ex just visited me"

"Your ex?"

"Mhm.. She disappeared for years without telling me anything and now- now she's right here"

"S-She?" A sudden sadness appeared in his voice "You like girls?"

"Girls and boys"

"Oh" He sounded calm again

"She's now asking me for forgiveness and it's just so overwhelming I-I don't know what to do" I started panicking

"Addy! Calm down, take deep breaths"

"Yeah, yeah" I spoke after a few seconds

"I know it's a lot but you don't have to accept any apologies"

I zoned out for a minute

"Addy?"

"Corpse.. I can't talk on the phone right now, it doesn't feel right" I cried "I need physical assurance"

"Addylin..-"

"I'm gonna hang up now, okay?" I sniffed

"N-" I hung up throwing myself on my bed

I stared at my window until I got another phone call, from Corpse

"Corpse..-"

"I want to meet you"

"No-"

"Yes."

"No Corpse, no! I'm not going to meet up with you. I know you're just doing this for me but I care about your privacy"

"But I feel so useless"

"What? You're not useless, don't say that.. You've cheered me up so many times"

"Cheering you up for a few seconds maybe, but I can't be here for you through texts or calls"

"I'll be fine" I smiled

"If you need me please call, okay?"
