I was yet again comforting Addy in my arms

She's been through so much and I wish I could take all of her pain on me

"It's too much for me to handle" She looked up to me

"I know.. I know Addy" I was sitting on her bed "I promise it'll stop soon"

She looked back down to her feet and started moving them around

"Everything with Sam is not your fault! You can't help her feelings for you"

"But I feel horrible"

"You can't force yourself to love her.."

"You're right" She sniffed

We held awkward eye contact until my mind cleared up again

"They're- They're probably waiting" She mumbled as she left the room with no hesitation

addy's pov

"They're- They're probably waiting" I mumbled

I really wanted to get out of that room as quickly as possible

Everything felt odd.. As if that eye contact meant something

I locked myself in the bathroom and called Corpse

call answered

"Corpse?"

He coughed and his voice was even raspier than before

"I'm so sorry" I mumbled

"You're-" He started coughing again "It's okay"

"No, it's not.. I was selfish, very selfish and I'm disappointed in myself" I sighed "It won't happen again and I get it if you don't want to talk to me"

"No, I do wanna talk to you"

My eyes lit up

"You're not mad?"

"I could never be mad at you, Addy"

"I- Thank you.. Thank you, Corpse"

"Just enjoy your day for me"

"I will"

"There you are!" Sean cheered when i walked down the stairs

"Yeah, sorry" I smiled "Are you guys ready to head out?"
