the first draft of this story actually included a very angsty turn at some point, but i opted out because it was too out of character and unrelated to the plot.

the final is pretty open. you can interpret whether juyeon likes chanhee back or not, even though i recommend imagining that they get married and adopt twelve cats. it's the most in-character ending possible for this book.
