First, the lies came. Of course, her friends didn't believe him at first. But then the doubt slipped in, when she stopped showing up to the Friday night hangouts at the diner. It was because he didn't want her to go. He didn't like sharing her. So, he forced her to choose. Them, or him. She promised herself she'd choose them the next time, but he had a way of changing her mind. He made her seem awful for not choosing him. She in turn, would feel bad and choose him. Just like he wanted her too.
