Divorce
This is the first step in the plan she made with her layer. She's already signed the papers, so all she has to do is leave them for him to sign. But that's a lot easier said than done. She can't be here when he see's them or he'll kill her for sure. So here she stands gripping the paper tightly with an unfocused gaze. When she sets the papers on the counter they are crinkled. She nervously smooths them out before walking out of the house. She can finally breath when she checks into a hotel room far away from him.
