My Body Is Stone

I am beginning to wonder whether my depth goes
Down to the deepest area of the ocean
It hasn't spoken to me in months
But I don't think it's touched the bottom
I think I've realized that it has only made
Way to a few meters below the surface
Not even the coral touched the tips of my toes
But my feet still broke into pieces as stones fell on them
