~ON TO THE STORY~

I let out a soft yawn as I watch Mao Mao stand on the fountain "I gathered you all here today-you getting this, Gary?" Mao Mao asks "Sure am!" Gary says happily. Mao Mao grins proudly before continuing "I've gathered you here today to witness legendary greatness. Today I will climb to the very tippy top of the highest point in Pure Heart Valley, the Ruby Pure Heart Spire. I'll take that applause now."

Adorabat and I start clapping "Yay! You're so cool, Mao Mao!" Adorabat cheers "Yeah, Kit Kat!" I cheer "Thank you. Thank you, thank you. You're too kind." Mao Mao chuckles proudly "Uh, this sounds more like a you thing, and less of, like, an us thing." Badgerclops says before walking away. Mao Mao runs in front of him "Badgerclops, climbing the Ruby Pure Heart Spire has never been done before. This is our chance for people to see me-uh-I mean-us...the way I want them to see us, as legends."

"Alright, who hurt Mao Mao this week? Let me know now, so I can kick your teeth in!" I shout, grabbing my (WOC). Mao Mao grabs me "No need for that, dear." He says, playing with my ear "No way, man, it's crazy windy up there." Badgerclops states "A little wind can't blow out the legendary fire that burns in my heart!" Mao Mao says "It's a bad idea, man. The wind speeds are so high up there that they'd blow the clothes clean off you-" "What was even the point of saying that?" I ask, snickering  a little before Mao Mao pushes a donut in Badgerclops' mouth.

Badgerclops closes his eyes and smiles "Mm, so good." He sighs, rubbing his chest "You have donuts?" I ask. Mao Mao nods "There's more back at HQ, there's even (Favorite Food)," He says with a smirk "I'll let you have them if you climb to the top of the Ruby Pure Heart with me." "Done." I say quickly. I mean, I was gonna do it anyway, but free food!

"Hold up. I'm having a moment." Badgerclops mutters, Mao Mao and I stare at him with a tired expression "Mmmmmok." Badgerclops says. Badgerclops shoots a grappling hook and launches himself to the Ruby Pure Heart "BOOM! DID IT!" He calls.

Mao Mao growls "I said 'climb', not 'grapple'!" He shouts "My turn!" Adorabat says, flying all the way to the top with a giggle. "Man, why couldn't I be written with special abilities?" I pout as Mao Mao shouts "I said 'climb', not 'fly', not 'grapple', CLIMBUH!"

Mao Mao goes into a whole rant I just stare at him "Kit-Kat, I don't even think they hear you." I tell him, Mao Mao pauses "You're right," Mao Mao sighs before grinning widely "But we can still climb!" "Ah! Mao Mao, you know I'm scared of heights!" I say. Mao Mao scoops me up and carries me towards the Pure Heart "Of course I do, Love. That's why I'm tying us together." Mao Mao says softly, pulling out a rope.

I yelp when Mao Mao ties the rope around my torso "Not too tight, right?" He ask "No." I say, blushing at little as Mao Mao ties the other end of the rope around himself "Ready." He asks, I nod nervously. The rope isn't too long, so I'm gonna have to keep up if I don't wanna die...

"Hey! Keep filming, we're going up!"
"I thought they were going out..."

I laugh a little at the joke as Mao Mao grips onto the bottom of the Pure Heart "Oh my gosh, we're doing this." I mumble to myself. I go quiet when I hear Mao Mao quietly talking to himself
