Chapter 10 Lied once more

Poppy pov

I was so pale and scared because of what branch almost did in the kitchen he literally put a sharp glass object in my throat and threatened to kill me thinking about it makes me feel traumatized

I just sighed and went to the living room sitting on the couch facing the wall until branch noticed and came to me with a bright smile"hello beautiful .",he said and kissed my cheek

I just faked smiled and looked away branch suddenly sat next to me "poppy?", branch said while he played with his thumbs he kinda nervous "what's the matter?",I asked and put my hand in his pretending that I cared

"Poppy when you said you where wrong we should totally marry someday you meant it right.....

He asked very amused making me cringe moving away leaving him confused

"I did said that huh...",I said to myself completely empty with nothing else to say

"Listen I didn't actually mean we marry I.... mean it's a bit to soon I said to him tryna not to sound to mean

Branch looked at me shocked with tears in his eyes he couldn't believe what I've had said he felt so upset he went to the room breaking everything apart in rage yelling I went to see him only on the floor crying with his arms wrapped around his legs

"Branch please calm down.....I said going near him to only see him angrily staring at me with wide eyes

"Why should I? I'm nothing to you." he said looking away crying more I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest

"Look branch I'm sorry ok I shouldn't have lied about loving you it' just.... if I haven't said anything you would have cut me with the glass plate

I said before I realized I said the wrong thing before I gasped covering my mouth

He shot an angry glance looking  at me growling at me in more anger standing up coming towards me I tried to take a few steps back until he grabbed my arm

"Branch please...

"Please what? you apparently not over hickory yet!

My eyes widened remembering the night he killed him and almost forgetting about it made me feel ashamed

Hickory.....Hickory....he was still actually dead...he murdered him that night and I almost forgot all about it I started running my hands through my hair

"HICKORY!!", I yelled again and aimlessly walked away from the room branch quickly ran out of the room following me with an evil smirk on his face

"So I was right you're not over him",he said but I just glared at him before I jumped towards him on the floor "Hickory is dead I forgot all about it!!!You killed him!!!You are a monster!!!You are a killer!! A brutal killer branch!!",

"Poppy,you know what I said about saying his name.",branch said very threatening but my emotions were stronger than my mind

I felt so angry I jumped on him with my hands around his throat screaming extremely loud

"How could you?! I loved him!! I loved  him so much!!! How could you make me forget about Hickory!!!!",I yelled while I strangled him but he was stronger than me and flipped me over,so he was on top of me

"I did it for you! For us!he came between us and asked you to be his soulmate and you accepted it you should've accepted me not him!

that's why I did what I had to do poppy!I will kill everyone who tries to take you away from me!you belong to me!",he yelled while I looked away screaming You are a monster!!!I want Hickory!!", I don't want you I yelled and his face got red out of pure anger and he slapped me very hard

My cheek was burning while I cried "Shut the hell up it's your fault he is dead!if you never ran out my bunker  leaving me for him,I wouldn't have done this!

"You are mine poppy! You were ever since You been around me!",he yelled while I sobbed "No my body might be yours to command as a sex slave but my heart will always belong to Hickory!!",I yelled back at him

To only notice him stare looking down at me with hurt eyes then all sudden he eyes turned into an empty stare

"I see.... I thought you finally accepted my love but it was just an act you once again lied once more about your feelings about me because all this time your heart belongs to Hickory,

"You know what poppy trying to win your love is just waste of time Looks like I have to break you to love me.", he said while his jaw clynched I looked at him with fear until he started hitting me

"You stupid bitch!"he spits at me and slaps me hard across the face harder than before he stood up before me kicking me a few times until I felt blood came out my mouth he smiled at me with satisfaction leaving me there to suffer
