Chapter 11 Mistreated to change of heart

Poppy pov

I got up sometime later, slowly sitting up trying to prevent as much pain as possible didn't work my body hurt very much I noticed branch came over and avoided helping me instead he went to the other room

I didn't bother asking him instead I got up on my own holding on to something walking towards the couch for comfort he came out and glared at me with anger

"Just what the hell do you think you're doing?"he hisses I snarled at him not responding continuing going to the couch I hear him growl in anger not hearing a single word out me

I almost made it towards the couch to sit on his grabs me from behind and shoves me to the ground I try to kick him but he easily dodges my attack and holds down my arms and legs I lay there in defeat the sobs raking through my body

"Branch please I just want to rest on the couch....I said to him to only notice he rolls his eyes in anger staring at me with no emotion

"You don't deserve to lay on anything I told you poppy I'm gonna have to break you until you start loving me he said in a growl

"Branch stop please! I begged to only seeing him growl in more anger kicking me in the stomach and walking back to his room without a word

I cupped my stomach and try to hold back the sobs I wanted to rest but he wouldn't let me instead he forced me on the floor for the entire day

Branch pov

I couldn't take it no more I can't keep avoiding her while she suffers on the floor with no comfort I'm already broken her how much more do I need to break her that way.....

Hours later

Poppy sat on the floor looking at the walls her head resting on her knees tears were steaming down her eyes as she looked at the wall with an broken gaze she hadn't slept even a wink because the pain in her body how could she sleep anyway.!!!After what the beast did to her she couldn't do anything besides sobbing into her knees silently  her face was drenched in tears her eyes begin swollen in it she sighed in a calm voice wiping her tears to ease her pain closing them for  a few minutes

He went to notice her gaze at the wall frightened him a little as he saw her as he saw her sobbing before she stopped

"Please forgive me. "branch whispered poppy didn't mishear the remorseful tone of his as he pleaded for remission she didn't know why but she felt that he didn't wanted to do it

Yet he raped her she can't disregard it nowhow "talk to me please"he pleaded as he outstretched his hand to touch her get he retreated it back perhaps because of the abuse he had already hurted her enough till she was broken much

He can't bear hurting her once again he picked her up bridal style leading her towards the bed wrapping covers around her body to make it more co he sat next to her gazing at his love she didn't do much she just gazed at the floor

He sighed turning away in shame as tears shed out his eyes oy if she knew how much it hurts him to see her brokenly stare away from him in fear with no words just empty quiet eyes and lips and no movements

He was well acquainted with the fact that she was now forever afraid of him after all what he did previous times

She closed her eyes and allowed the tears to cascaded down as she layed down on the bed to sleep so she could forget all the pain she had through few hours ago

She slowly closed her eyes tryna drift her way to sleep then had to suddenly opened them back seeing branch going near her

She glanced to see branch sitting on his knees he was applying a cotton soaked in some liquid on her wrist and the liquid in her wrist and the liquid was quite unticate she looked at her wrist to find the sharps of her splintered glass bangles had pierced her skin they had left some rough and serious bruises

On her wrist he clenched the blood on her wrist with the help of the dettol "Ahhhh!!!!"she shrieked in pain he glanced at her with concern he gently blew air over the bruises and pecked it very lightly and to her horror it did was alleviating her agony he continued to clean

Her bruises and after the bruises were clean he applied an antibiotic ointment on her bruises he didn't gaze up at her owing to the fact that he was chagrined and infuriated with himself after what he did previous times to her even though he did  previous times he did everything to make her more feel comfortable

He hurted the one girl he loves the most in this world he can never forgive himself for this both of them sat there in awkward silence branch sighed taking poppy by the arm kissing it with regret

Poppy looked away she didn't want to look at him at all she was way to broken and afraid he noticed after he looked up at her

"I need to go "he whispered in a croaking voice as he got up and dashed outside the room she sighed in relief drifting to sleep with comfort without having to look at him with fear and worry then something raised out her mind while thinking
