Chapter 20 Truth reveal

Poppy pov

As soon as I arrived at my home my dad was already waiting for me "sweet heart hello where were you all this time?",....did something happened?",he asked me completely concerned and I faked smiled at him almost in tears

"I'm ok dad just been busy with personal stuff  queen duties.", I said with a sore pain in my throat hating what I'm saying knowing it ain't true he noticed me shivering and came closer

"Umm..... poppy what are you hiding from me asked a bit unsettle with my behavior "oh it's nothing dad just really exhausted and tired I said making him not buying any of it looking into my eyes

"Poppy what is going on with you what really happened you need to tell me or I can't help you.", he said and I couldn't stop myself from crying I immediately ran to his arms telling him everything

"Dad..... B-branch has been Abusing me and forcing me with unspeakable things if I don't do what he say

King peppy looked at his child in shock understanding the whole situation what was wrong with me he hugged me even tigher making me sob in relief

"Oh poppy I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that I had always thought of him as a good boy never thought of him as this monster he said releasing me

"HOW DARE THAT BASTARD PUT HIS HANDS ON YOU I WILL KILL HIM WHEN I SEE HIM!!!

King peppy threatened and I tapped him to make him look at me so I could tell him the rest of the stuff

Dad..... branch got me pregnant and I want to run away without him knowing it I said and he brought me into another hug kissing my forehead

"Sweetheart you can't always run away forever you have to face your problems and fight it you're stonger than this don't let branch control you you are queen after all remember

What he said made me realize everything I may not run away but I can surely fight him even if it kills me 

I....will do whatever it takes to protect you  poppy I won't ever let him hurt you again not ever or will he said making me hug him in tears I felt happy I felt free I didn't have to go back to him now because I was protected even if it was a bad thing but It still was a shot of my freedom and happiness
