The date had been set; september 22nd. Wilbur had announced the election almost immediately after I brought up the idea, and seemed very excited about it overall. So far there was only one party running, Wilbur and Tommy's party. No one else in L'Manberg wanted to run against Wilbur, or they knew they wouldn't win even if they tried.

Wilbur and Tommy came up with some policies and ideas for their campaign, writing them down to spread around L'Manberg.

It was mid September when Wilbur recruited me to help with his campaign. Him, Tommy, and I went around all of L'Manberg, spreading the news and telling people to vote for Wilbur. It wasn't as hard as I imagined it would be, and a lot of the people were already assuring us they would vote in Wilburs favor.

The only problem that we constantly faced was when people would ask who the opposing side was. There was none, which didn't make us look very good.

"Maybe we should branch outside of L'Manberg?" I offered.

"But only L'Manbergians can vote. What would be the point?" Tommy argued.

"What else can we do?" Wilbur questioned to the side of me, running his hand through his hair and shaking it.

Thinking about it, the only people we still needed to see was those on the outskirts of L'Manberg, like Niki. Or.......

I had one of those lightbulb moments, remembering that we still had a questionable citizen who needed a visit, and he actually came up with the idea in the first place.

"Quackity!" I snapped my finger, causing Wilbur and Tommy to break focus and look at me.

"You're right, we forgot to talk to him" Tommy nodded along with me.

"But is he even a citizen? He's not European" Wilbur said with uncertainty.

"Sure he is, and he's technically Mexican, so at least he's not American" I pointed out.

Wilbur sighed and followed us to the wooden path connecting L'Manberg to the rest of the smp.

Arriving at Karl's house, we knocked on the front door, waiting for a response. The wood was thrown open, and unexpectedly, a completely clothed Quackity was waiting on the other side.

"Hey fellas, and Nix" Quackity addressed me separately.

"Ayyyyy, Big Q" Tommy greeted, Quackity joining in with him

"Quackity, we've come to announce that L'Manberg will be holding an election on the 22nd of september. Tommy and I are running for President and Vice President of L'Manberg, and we are hoping you would consider voting for us in this election" Wilbur declared, handing him a book with policies and reasons to vote for them.

"Who are you running against?" Quackity asked, flipping through the pages.

"Uh, no one at the moment" I replied.

Quackity's gaze shot up, looking between each of us. He swiftly shut the book and handed it to Tommy.

"A one party election?" Quackity's smile was gone from his face.

"Well, anyone can run against us if they want," Wilbur defended.

"This is a threat to our democracy, a single party? Are you kidding me?" Quackity's voice grew louder, anger in his words.

We all stood silently, not really knowing what to respond with. He was right, but we had no one to go against us.

"There's another party now, I'm gonna run against you" Quackity announced defiantly.
