"What the hell are you two doing in here?" Dream asks, looking over to Sapnap and then back at me.

"Hey Dream, Nix is just getting an OP crossbow because I'm the best teacher ever" Sapnap boasts, smiling when he sees Dream.

Dream gave a nod of greeting in Sapnap's direction, probably piecing together that Sapnap was who Alyssa picked to show me weaponry skills.

While he was discussing something boring and completely not worth my time with Sapnap, his right hand caught my attention. Bandages were tightly rolled around his knuckles, and small splotches of red could be seen through the white cloth.

"What happened to your hand?" I ask concernedly, drawing his attention back down to me.

Dream glances down at his arm, and then moves it out of my eyesight and walks past me, seeming to ignore my worry.

"Nothing. It's fine. I see you aren't in an unconscious state anymore"

Sapnap raised a brow in confusion.

"Yeah, no thanks to you" I folded my arms.

Sapnap's brow raised another notch.

"But that's not important right now. Are you sure your hand is okay? It looks like it's still bleeding out right now" I point out.

"I said it was fine. How is training with Sapnap going?" He deflected my question and killed a few spiders.

"It's going wonderfully. And for the record, I can tell you are just trying to change the subject but I'll let it slide for now" Unfolding my arms, I watch how Dream kills the spiders, taking notes for later.

"It was going wonderfully, until you started stealing all of Nix's spiders" Sapnap left the corner he was in, and took the sword from my hands. "Dream's not gonna move, so we should come back tomorrow"

Dream nodded in agreement, continuing to slash through the arachnids.

"Thanks a lot Dream" I say sarcastically, frowning as Sapnap puts the lapis back in the chests.

"You're welcome. What's Alyssa making for dinner?" Dream asked, checking his sword momentarily.

"Don't tell me you're coming over for dinner again?" I whine, realising the relaxing evening I had hoped for wasn't going to be so relaxing after all.

"Of course, I have to make sure you're on your best behaviour" Dream stated.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I tilt my head, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't trust you" Dream walked over and leaned down, only a couple inches away from me. "Especially with my family"

My eyes were wide, and I'll admit, I was intimidated. Dream was undoubtedly scary, with or without the mask. It was the way he carried himself, as if he was invincible.

"Dream, Nix and I wanted to ask you something," Sapnap interrupted from behind me, and I was very thankful for the eyes on Dream's mask to leave mine.

"What?"

"Um... you know what? Nix why don't you ask" Sapnap nudged me, and I shot an annoyed glare in his direction.

"You're supposed to be his best friend!" I whisper aggressively.

"That doesn't make him any less intimidating!" He whispered back.

My eyes narrow as I turn back to Dream, who had definitely heard the conversation.

"Well, we were thinking of a way to lighten things up around here, and I thought a prank on George would be pretty funny, but Sapnap said he would just get mad, which would probably do the opposite of what we want to achieve. And can I just say that if you don't find harmless pranks funny, you're kinda boring-"
