Jungkook's POV

there i was, apologising for mistakes that can't be forgiven... how did i do something this bad...

"it's okay to cry, baby..."

"it's okay to let the tears flow... you don't need to act tough in front of me, i know you're delicate, really... really delicate"

"i'm sorry..."

there she was, letting go of everything, every little tear drop she had been holding back, wetting my shirt with her tears, holding on to me... so tight

"it's okay, i love you"

and as soon as i said that, a sudden wave of realization hits her... and she pulls off

Y/N: "Kook, we shouldn't be doing this"

Jungkook: "oh i-i'm sorry"

"but..."

"why can i not even hug you..."

"i don't care what people say, Y/N"

"i know, we're not together anymore but at least we can still be friends, that's the least we can do"

Y/N: "it's no use Kook"

she paused for a second

Y/N: "i don't have much time anyway..."

Jungkook: "stop this Y/N"

Y/N: "stop what? saying the truth because it hurts you? why does it hurt you? why do you care? who are you to care?"

the questions... who knew that one day i'd have to watch myself being questioned, by the person i love the most, the person that matters the most to me... who knew i'd be standing here, in front of my best friend, questioning myself the love i have for her... just who knew...

Jungkook: "i'm sorry Y/N"

Y/N: "you're none to apologise kook... i appreciate you caring for me, but i just don't need it..."

she paused yet again

Y/N: "it's okay... i'm okay"

she looked down as she said that, me still trying to look into her eyes...

Y/N: "leave"

Jungkook: "hm?"

i said, trying to process what she just said

Y/n: "leave me alone kook"

Jungkook; "no Y/N... not anymore... i've left you alone for quite a while but i wont do that mistake again..."

Y/N: "why..."

Jungkook: "because i love and care for you dumbass"

she was silent, seemed like she really had nothing to say...

Y/N: "but why though..." she said in a low tone

...exactly my point... why do i love her...?

silence...

Jungkook: "Y/N..."

she hummed in response

Jungkook: "t-the appointment..."

Y/n: "oh right..."

"let's go Kook"

Jungkook: "what?"

she looked at me, clearly confused

Jungkook: "your clothes..."

Y/N's POV

oh shit...

i thought as i realised that i wasnt paying enough attention in covering myself, which, of course means that Kook saw my bloody dress, and... the scars

Y/N: "i-i'm sorry, i'll go change"

Jungkook: "can i... choose an outfit?"

i immediately looked at him as he said that...

Y/N: "i... uh... i dont know"

i said as i lowered my head, trying not to make eye contact with him, not realising that he was following each and every of my move... still trying to find that innocent smile he had been longing to see...

Jungkook: "do you still have the black hoodie i gave you... on your birthday?"

"o-on my birthday...?" i thought as if i had forgotten my own birthday already

Jungkook: "well..."

he paused

Jungkook: "the day you thought i ch-cheated..."

oh...

Y/N: "i- i don't think so..."

"i think i..."

i looked around to see some reference or hint, trying to remember what i did to it

"burned it"
