Priya’s PoV

My phone buzzed with a notifications, and the notification made me squeal!!! Arjun was releasing a bonus track of his album “Jab se tere naina”

In the caption he had written, “I wrote this song a week ago, something happened and I couldn’t hold back from writing my feelings in the song. It is a special track, it will not be released but I’ll make sure to sing it on the show night. Hope to see y'all there, Love, A,x.” 

What? A new song? But he’ll only perform on the show night? I can not miss his show! I squealed, he wrote it one week ago? Umm what? It was my birthday  a week ago? He wrote the song on my birthday. 

Then another notification popped on my phone. A message request?

MESSAGE REQUEST OF ARJUN JAISINGH AM I DREAMING! LET ME DIE IN PEACE NOW!

“I guess you’re attending my show. I guess we’ll meet. Ax.”

It was the text.  I couldn’t even process it all.

I replied, “Yes!”

But the message was  seen but no reply , I guess my message was lost in his dms. I sighed, no worries, he messaged me, it was very much for me. I will attend the show.

I almost starting dancing and sang “Tanha Dil”

But then I saw two eyes looking at me. Diana was standing by the door and trying not to laugh.

“What are you doing?” She laughed.

“Ummm nothing…” I looked down, my cheeks turned red.

“I think you got a crush, Don’t you?” she grinned.

“No, what, no.” I said, she caught  me. 

“What a terrible liar you are. Anyways, I wanted to tell you that on Saturday, I have a fashion show. You have to come with me." 

Saturday??? It is the day of Arjun's show! 

"Saturday? It's… it's the weekend and I have… to… I mean it's the weekend. I have to complete my pending assignments." I lied.

"You're not a defaultie and you never have pending assignments, why lie?" Diana chuckled.

"You know I hate parties. I wouldn't be worth anything." 

"Honey, if you wanna be a fashion designer in future, you must go. And it would be awesome if you do so." 

"But.."

"It's alright. I'll let you go but tell me the real reason. Did you get a bf?" Diana said in a flirty way..

"No, not that." I said..

"Oh stop this game." 

"Okay, so on Saturday, it's the concert of my favourite singer." 

"Who? Ed Sheeran? Any boy from One direction? Arijit Singh but Arijit doesn't sing out of India, does he?"
