Alice's P.O.V.

I woke hearing Kate talk to Derek. I tried to keep quiet so she didn't know I was awake yet.

"Sweetheart, I really don't want to torture you. But he does."

I heard her leave and had to try and keep quiet while some hit Derek over and over. I knew he would heal but I hated that he had to in the first place. Once the man left Derek called out to me.

"How do you feel?"

"Awful. My body hurts from being thrown around and electrocuted."

"I'm so sorry you got dragged into this. It's all my fault."

"I'm not. If I had to choose between going through a normal year, or the year I've had, I'd pick this one. Yeah, being tortured really sucks, but I met you. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I wouldn't trade you for anything."

It was quiet for a few minutes.

"You mean that."

"Of course I do."

"There's a lot I need to tell you when we get out of here."

"Okay."

We sat in silence for awhile. My body was almost too tired to speak.

"Scott."

I looked in Derek's direction in confusion.

"What?"

"He howled."

"Can you howl back? Can he find us like that?"

"Yes. This is going to be loud, I'm sorry."

"It's okay."

I turned away the best I could and listened to him howl. Something about it sparked a weird feeling inside of me. It made me feel safe and at home, even in the situation we're in now.

"Let's hope he can follow his senses."

A few minutes later I heard the door open.

"Alice!"

I sighed in relief when I heard Scott.

"I'm so happy to hear your voice Scott. Get Derek down."

"I'll get him in a second. Let me get you out."

"No, if they come back then Derek is your best chance at winning. Get him down."

"Fine. I'll be right back."

I heard some chains rattling.

"He's coming back. You need to hide."

A few seconds later footsteps approached.

"Ready to have some more fun? To be honest, my knuckles are kind of hurting. So I brought some help. But I need to warn ya. I used to play in college."

"I brought a little help too."

I heard a thump and chains rattling again.

"Scott, help me with this."

"No."

"What?"

I furrowed my brows.

"Not until you tell me how to stop Peter."

"You really wanna talk about this right now?"

"He's going after Allison and her family. He's going to kill them."

"So what?"

"So tell me how to stop him."

"You can't! Alright? Now- I don't know when Kate's coming back, so just get me out of this right now! Get me out right now! I need to help Alice."
