It All Started with a Candy

Chapter 4

 In the morning Nico woke up and his head hurt like hell. As the memories from yesterday came back he felt getting more terrified as he remembered more. Looking next to him he saw Lucas in his arms sleeping peacefully. His heart fluttered at how cute he looked and wanted to cherish this moment forever since when he woke up Luca will probably laugh at him because of how he expressed his feelings. He knew that if he got too drunk it will be bad but drinks helped the anxiety go away so he drank too much for his good.--

-"Good Morning" he heard Lucas say

-"Morning...Don't worry I will be leaving soon" Nicolas replied nervously all the bravery from last night missing

-"It is okay you can stay...I mean if you want to"the other boy replied reassuring him

They both got dressed and Lucas's mother Alice made them breakfast. His father was on a work-related journey in Brazil trying to uncover a hidden treasure hidden in Mount Roraima.

After breakfast, Nicolas was getting ready to apologize for his behavior last night and would probably understand if Lucas never wanted to see him again. What he did not expect was getting kissed as soon the both boys stepped out of the house and out of Luca's mom gaze

He felt like the world stopped spinning and they were the only people on it. Kissing his soft lips was the most amazing thing he ever did in his life. It felt like millions of butterflies exploded in his stomach and were ready to fly out.

-" I thought you hated me?" Nico said with confusion in his voice

Lucas looked deep into his eyes and said" How can I hate you when I love you! Watching you in class every day was a pain when I couldn't have you. You were always so kind to everyone and tried to help your friends. How could I ever hate you, Nico?" He confessed and continued: "It would be amazing if you will be my boyfriend...only if you want of course."

Nicolas was stunned and all he could say was: "Yes of course I love you too and I have loved you more than 2 years even though you already know that after the embarrassment I made out of myself yesterday. But the answer is obviously yes!"

Luca looked at him with worry in his eyes and said," Don't you ever think you are an embarrassment and if you haven't said anything yesterday I would have never known your true feelings for me and would have never confessed to you! Don't let one simple mistake that turns out to be something great ruin what you think for yourself"

They both kissed deeply with the difference this time both of them knew their true feelings towards each other. Nicolas was ready to go home Luca looked at him, smiled, and gave him a piece of candy before kissing him again on the cheek. Finally, he said with a smirk:

"After all It all started with a Candy"
