The Supporter's Eulogy

I so dearly had the right to speak, 

But now I'm silenced by hatred's peak.

Nobody will listen or understand. 

Why can't we still live hand in hand? 

So what if I believe something different than another, 

And so what if I stood my ground alongside sisters and brothers. 

I don't understand why I have to be hated! 

Persecuted! Why? There is no good reason! 

I've been told to leave and to go kill myself now, 

And so I tried, but I failed, and I still don't know how. 

I've given hatred to nobody, so why do you hate me? 

I don't discriminate gender, love interest, or what have you, you see? 

So please shut up! Stop shouting! 

Oh, please let me be!I want to be treated equally again and be happy...
