Chapter 23

RAGE

Rage stared at the spear in his hands.

Hell's spear. With this he controls the power of hell. With Zack turning human and forgetting everything, he forfeited his claim to the throne. Unless he remembers everything, he would remain human all his life.

Rage sneered. For a mere woman Zack gave up everything.

And Yohan...

Rage's face morphed into a hideous scowl.

"You forced me..."mahinang tugon ni Rage habang nakatitig sa patalim.

"Sinabi ko naman sayo na hindi siya karpatdapat. I told you he will not choose you. You never listen. A foolish and weak prince."Rage spat as he gripped the spear tighter. Rage closed his eyes as their previous conversation played in his mind.

He has always supported Yohan. Yohan is ruthless and cunning. He never makes rash moves. Kaya naman ay hindi niya maintindihan ang mga kinilos nito ngayon.

"Anong balak mong gawin Yohan?"seryosong tanong ni Rage. He raised Yohan. He knew that it was never in Yohan's nature to be greedy.

"Ang alin? What part of it do you not understand?"Yohan asked indifferently. Rage looked at Yohan's eyes. They both know what he is talking about and it is not about Yohan's plan.

"Is he really worth it? Hindi mo kailangan ng kapangyarihan. Hindi mo siya kailangan tulungan. Hindi kaya ng katawan mo ang dalawang kapangyarihan. Dadating ang araw, mawawalan ka ng kontrol"Rage said through gritted teeth.

Yohan smiled. They both know what Rage means.

"Would you believe me if I say I want the power of darkness?"

Bullshit. Siya ang nagpalaki kay Yohan. He knows him well. He is not someone who would risk his life for power. Why is he helping Zack?

"Gusto niyang maging tao Rage. It is my obligation as his brother to fulfill his needs."nakangiting tugon ni Yohan.

Rage stared at Yohan as if looking at a stranger.

"Kapatid mong walang pag-aalinlangang ibabaon sa iyo ang patalim? He never treated you as his brother. Believe me, if given the chance, Zack would unhesitatingly kill you. Kung ganun ang pagkakaroon ng kapatid, mabuti nalang wala akong kapatid"Rage said mockingly. Yohan just smiled at Rage's mocking.

"Why are you still complaining? I already killed our parents for him. I already killed those angels for him. Whats the use of your lecture?"Tila nababagot na tugon ni Yohan. Rage wants to beat some sense into Yohan.

"I did not save you just for you to die for someone else." Galit na bigkas ni Rage. Yohan just laughed at Rage's words.

"I'd gladly kill anyone for him."Yohan said calmly.

Even his self.

Rage kept quiet about the unspoken words of Yohan. They both know that Zack would never do the same for his Yohan.

"The weak can not be King."Rage said seriously.

"A little more darkness is nothing."Yohan said while smiling.

"You idiot! Alam mong puno na ang katawan mo. The fire and darkness in your body are in a delicate balance! Too much darkness will kill you."galit na sigaw ni Rage.

"It doesn't matter"Yohan said while smiling. Rage's expression turned cold.

In the end, Yohan was too weak to be King.

"I never raised you to be a martyr" Wika ni Rage. Yohan laughed at Rage's words.

"Will you join me Rage? You would still support me wouldn't you?"Yohan asked while smiling.

"You expect me to support you in your suicide?"Rage laughed in anger. Yohan stared at Rage seriously.

"Zack is consumed by darkness. Left uncheck he will die Rage. I can not lose anyone else."

"Your life in exchange for his. How is he worthy?!"sigaw ni Rage.

"Enough! I will not watch him be consumed by darkness Rage."wika ni Yohan.

"So you want me to do nothing and watch you die?"Rage asked in disbelief. When Yohan did not reply, Rage's expression cooled.

"You want to die so badly? Then die"Rage said coldly before walking away.

Rage gripped the spear tighter as he chuckled. Bakit pa nga ba niya binabalikan ang nakaraan. He already made his choice. He is a desserter. In the end he left Yohan to face everything alone.

I can not support an incompetent King.

"Forgive me my Prince. I already did everything that I could do..."

That's the end of it guys! Im not sure if this is a happy or bad ending. In the end, Zack got Ara. Though both of them lost their memories and Zack... well, he lost everything else. But hey he still got the woman he loves so you decide if thats good or bad.
