I'm skipping to third year because the plot of chamber of secrets just wouldn't work with the story line I've already created. Also I've got lots of good ideas for third and fourth year and I want to get started on them.
So the next chapter I post will be set in the summer before third year starts.
To clarify, Tom Riddle and the basilisk didn't happen but Lockhart was a teacher and was fired by the end of the year.
