She made sirens jealous
of the way she sang.
She made butterflies envious
of the way she danced.
She made the sun bow down
with the way she shone,
and made the moon shy
with the way she glowed.
She was birthed from diamonds,
she was made up of stars.
And she ruled the universe
with the kindness in her heart.
