hiii I thought this song (All About You cover by Cal) fit in perfectly with the storyline so I decided to stick it in here, so watch it and tell me what you think:) love you bunches here's Chapter nine!:)

The next few days went by fast, school and such to deal with. I hadn't spoken with Calum since Sunday, but we texted, like everyday, when I would get out of school. On Friday night, Carter and Abby came over to watch the big game with my family, and of course I had to invite Calum and Mali.

"The party has arrived!" Calum exclaimed as he walked right in through my front door.

"Excuse my rude brother." Mali mumbled, knocking pointlessly on the door before she entered.

"Hey guys." I laughed lightly at them, then pulled Mali in for a huge hug. "Did you bring pie?" I questioned, pointing to the pie in her hand.

"Yeah. Calum actually-" she began, but Calum interrupted.

"I picked it out." Calum grinned.

"That's what I was going to tell her, if you would shut your damn mouth." Mali sighed. It took a lot of strength to not laugh at the two of them, they're so close but they fight all the time.

"I just wanted the McKingsley's to know that I picked out the pie-"

"Whoever picked out the pie doesn't matter. Thank you both." my mum stood up, taking the pie from Mali and shooting them both a playful glare. She was like their second mum; always settling their conflicts.

"Hey Calum." Abby smiled all flirtatiously at him, but he hardly glanced at her. His gaze was fixed on me, for some unknown reason.

"Hey Abby. Hey Jade." Calum smirked, plopping himself down beside me on the couch. "How have you been?" he asked.

"Busy with school and shit." I shrugged.

"What kind of shit we talking about?" he smirked wider and bit his lip to hold back a full on smile.

"Just.. random shit, get off my back!" I protested, hitting him lightly on the chest.

"Ow!" he clutched the area of his chest I had hit, but he couldn't even hold it in. He burst into laughter right there, causing me to laugh as well. What an idiot he is.

"I didn't know you two were friends again." Abby hissed in my ear once Calum turned his attention to the football game on TV. I just shrugged in return, not really knowing what to say.

>>>>

Somehow, after Carter and Abby left, Calum and I ended up sitting out on my front porch, chatting about random shit.

I'd been thinking a lot throughout the night about Calum and I becoming friends again, and how much I actually missed having Calum around. He could always make me smile; always make me happy on a bad day. I fell into a bad place after Calum left, and I really didn't like it. I'm getting better, I can feel it.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Calum smiled, staring at me intently.

"Oh, it's nothing." I lied, shrugging slightly.

"Yes it is. You have that... look." he smirked. I cocked my head and gave him a weird look, I don't have some sort of look when I am thinking.

"What look?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

"You always have this.. look when you're thinking about something. I've memorized you inside and out, McKingsley. Nothing gets passed me." he smirked, causing me to roll my eyes.

"I'm sure that's true." I chuckled.

"It is. But seriously, what are you thinking about?" he raised an eyebrow.
